    摘要: An apparatus to indicate unauthorized manipulation of at least one protected device enclosed in a housing is provided. The apparatus includes a structure attached to a first portion of the housing and a token switch attached to a second portion of the housing. The token switch is operably positioned with reference to the structure. The token switch includes a plunger, and a register programmed with a value. The register is communicatively coupled with a processor in a circuit. The circuit is communicatively coupled to drive the device. The structure, the token switch, and the circuit are internal to the housing when the housing is in a closed position. The plunger and the structure are positioned to generate a current when the housing is opened. The programmed value in the register is changed by the generated current and the processor takes an action responsive to the change in the programmed value.

    摘要: A thermal spray method and apparatus for applying a coating on to a substrate is provided comprising the steps of: (1) providing powder particles to be deposited on to the substrate; (2) providing a plasma spray apparatus for depositing the powder particles; (3) providing structure for preheating the powder particles prior to the particles entering the plume; (4) preheating the powder particles prior to entraining the particles within the plasma; and (5) depositing the molten powder particles on to the substrate.

    摘要: An oxide dispersion strengthened metal coating is applied to a substrate by positioning a laser spray apparatus over the substrate such that a laser in the spray apparatus forms a hot zone at a distance above the substrate sufficient to prevent the substrate from melting. An oxide dispersion strengthened metal powder coating material is injected into the hot zone to heat the coating material such that it will be in a plastic state when it impinges against the substrate. The coating material is then caused to impinge against the substrate to form a uniform coating on the substrate. The microstructure of the coating on the substrate is substantially identical to the coating material's microstructure before it is injected into the hot zone.
