摘要: A catheter for use in a patient's heart, especially for mapping a tubular region of the heart, has a catheter body, a deflectable intermediate section and a distal a mapping assembly that has a generally circular portion adapted to sit on or in a tubular region of the heart. A control handle of the catheter allows for single-handed manipulation of various control mechanisms that can deflect the intermediate section and contract the mapping assembly by means of a deflection control assembly and a linear control assembly. The deflection control assembly has a deflection arm and a rocker member. The linear control assembly has a linear control member, an inner rotational member and a cam. A pair of puller members are responsive to the deflection control assembly to bi-directionally deflect the intermediate section. A third puller member is responsive to the linear control assembly to contract the generally circular portion of the mapping assembly.

摘要: A burner system for a furnace. The system may have a wedged or other shaped burner box. An air-fuel mixer may be attached to a smaller end of the burner box at about a right angle relative to a direction of a gas and air mixture leaving the larger box end. A burner head may be attached to the larger end of the box. The burner head may be sufficient for numerous heater sections of a heat exchanger. A spacer and an orifice shield may be situated between the burner head and heat exchanger. A fan may pull in the gas and air mixture from the mixer, through the box and the burner head. The mixture may be ignited into a flame which is pulled into the heat exchanger. Some of the flue gas from the exchanger exhaust may be recirculated by being added with air to the mixer.

摘要: An illuminated apparatus for assisting movement is provided that is able to illuminate surface areas upon which one walks, hikes, skis, skates, runs, reads from, signals, examines or studies. The illuminated apparatus for assisting movement may provide both broad and focused illumination. The device may ensure safe footing, solid purchase, and stable load bearing by providing illuminated assistance for foot, ski and skate placement, as well as the placement of singular and multi-pole fixtures used for activities such as hiking, climbing, skiing, skating, running, and walking. The illuminated apparatus for assisting movement may be compact and lightweight.

摘要: A coupling assembly includes a fitting having a wall presenting an inner surface, surrounding a lumen, and an outer surface, opposing the inner surface. A barb extends radially away from the outer surface of the wall to a peak. A seal circumferentially surrounds the outer surface of the wall and is spaced from the peak of the barb. A hose presents an initial outer diameter. The hose extends over each of the seal and the barb such that the hose is deformed at the barb to present a displaced outer diameter that is greater than the initial outer diameter of the hose. A cage is spaced at least a distance from the peak of the barb and radially compresses the exterior surface of the hose and the seal to form an interference fit between each of the hose, the barb, and the cage.

摘要: A catheter having an internal advancing mechanism that can advance stiffening wires or other devices, has a catheter with a catheter body, a tip section distal the catheter body, a device extending through at least the catheter body, and a control handle proximal the catheter body, where the control handle has an advancing mechanism with a threaded member, an adjustment member, and a guided member to which the device is connected, and the advancing mechanism is configured to advance and retract the device along the catheter body as controlled by a user. Each of the threaded member and the adjustment member has a generally cylindrical configuration. The threaded member has an outer surface configured with a helical guide channel. The adjustment member is configured to guide the guided member to move within the helical guide channel to advance and retract the device. The adjustment member can be rotatable over the threaded member by the user to control advancement and retraction of the device. The device may be a stiffener wire, a needle or any other device suitable for advancement and retraction in a catheter.

摘要: A posture improvement device provides neuromuscular stimulation or proprioceptive therapy using a combination of pressure, torque and angle simultaneously applied to a user in order to train body muscles for proper posture through muscle memory. The device comprises a garment designed to be worn by the user, which is preferably configured like a short-sleeved undershirt or T-shirt. The garment may be fabricated of a stretchable, yet taut material in order to provide the desirable form-fitting feature such that pressure may be readily applied to the surface of the skin for neuromuscular stimulation. This elastomeric material is also preferably breathable and/or which has moisture wicking capabilities.

摘要: A dispensing system for liquid materials comprising a container, a dispensing assembly, a cap member, and base material. The container defines a primary opening, a secondary opening, and a product chamber. The dispensing assembly is selectively attached to the container to cover the primary opening. The cap member is selectively attached to the container to cover the secondary opening. The base material is introduced into the product chamber through the secondary opening. The base material is dispensed from the product chamber through the primary opening using the dispensing assembly.
