The wireless communication terminal transmits data to a communication target in response to a transmission processing request from an application execution section for executing the application program. The wireless communication terminal is configured to: establish the wireless communication connection to the communication target; disconnect, based on a given condition, the wireless communication connection to the communication target to cause a shift to a communication interrupted state; re-establish the wireless communication connection to the communication target when the transmission processing request is received in the communication interrupted state from the application execution section; and transmit, to the communication target, the data relating to the transmission processing request after the re-establishment of the wireless communication connection.
