摘要: Disclosed is a magnetic head comprising a support member having a plane faced by a magnetic recording medium; an electromagnetic converter mounted on the support member, and provided with an amorphous magnetic film which is possessed of an axis of easy magnetization extending in a prescribed direction along the plane of the film.The amorphous magnetic film occupies such a position on the support member that a magnetic flux sent forth from the recording medium passes through the amorphous magnetic film in the prescribed direction.

摘要: A flap gate including a water gate door body of closed shell structure having a substantially rectangular vertical transverse cross-section with its bottom edge in the lengthwise direction being detachably supported on pivotal supports in such manner that said water gate door body can be freely erected and laid, is characterized in that the width a of said vertical transverse cross-section is selected one-sixteenths or less times as small as the distance b between said pivotal supports, and that when said water gate door body is vertically erected, a contact surface along the bottom edge of said door is brought in contact with a bank wall and also restrained by said pivotal supports so as not to separate from said bank wall.

摘要: A perpendicular magnetization amorphous thin film of an alloy of samarium, cobalt and bismuth having an easy magnetizing axis perpendicular to a plane of substrate, and the preparation thereof. According to the thin film, a large saturation magnetization is obtained along an easy magnetizing direction perpendicular to the plane of substrate. The thin film can be prepared by depositing samarium, cobalt and bismuth on the substrate without any applying a bias voltage to the substrate.

摘要: A multichannel magnetic head has magnetic circuits for respective channels, each positioned to traverse a magnetic flux to be detected and a Hall element disposed in the magnetic circuits and used as a magnetic-electric converter. The Hall element is an amorphous magnetic thin film which consists essentially of an alloy containing a rare earth element (e.g. Gd) and a transistion metal (e.g. Co). To the amorphous magnetic thin film there are connected a pair of current terminals and Hall voltage terminals. The Hall voltage terminals are provided in the same number as the number of channels.

摘要: A perpendicular magnetization film of iron-chromium alloy having an easy magnetization axis perpendicular to a plane of substrate, and the preparation thereof. The perpendicular magnetization film provides a dominant peak corresponding to a lattice constant of 2.07 to 2.08 .ANG. in X-ray diffraction spectrum, and possesses a large saturation magnetization of more than 100 emu/cm.sup.3. The perpendicular thin film can be prepared by depositing iron and chromium on the substrate under vacuum or an atmosphere of argon gas at a low pressure.

摘要: A multichannel magnetic head has a Hall element which is disposed in a magnetic circuit which is traversed by a magnetic flux to be detected and which is used as magnetic/electric converting means. The Hall element comprises an amorphous magnetic thin film consisting of an alloy containing a rare earth element and a transition metal. To the amorphous magnetic thin film are connected a pair of current terminals and a plurality of Hall voltage terminals corresponding in number to the number of channels of the multichannel head, and the amorphous thin film is arranged in magnetic circuits of a plurality of channels.
