    摘要: A drive motor for an electric vehicle is an IPM motor including a motor rotor (25), which is made up of a rotor core portion (29) having an inner peripheral surface, which is mounted externally on a rotary output shaft (24) and which is round in sectional shape, and a permanent magnet (30) disposed within the rotor core portion (29). At a circumferential position which will become proximate to a site of the permanent magnet (30), displaced towards an outer diametric side of the rotor core portion (29), an inner peripheral surface of the rotor core portion (29) and an outer peripheral surface of the rotary output shaft are provided with respective non-round shaped portions (29a, 24a) of a circular shape in section, which form respective parts of a detention or arresting unit (31) for arresting the motor rotor (25) from rotating relative to the rotary output shaft (24).

A spacer having an axial thickness slightly greater than that of the flange portion is arranged on a radially outer side of the flange portion.     摘要: After a winding machine connects a winding wire to a terminal pin, a slackening member is moved in a substantially horizontal direction substantially orthogonal to a direction of a terminal block being extended so as to be located on an orbit of the winding wire. Then, a led part of the winding wire radially between the terminal pin and teeth is extended to the teeth while in contact with a curved surface of a tip of the slackening member. That is, the led part is extended while bent in the substantially horizontal direction. After the winding wire is wound around the respective teeth, the slackening member is moved out of the orbit.

    摘要: A porous ceramic material for a slidable member or unit such as a valve unit of a combination faucet. The porous ceramic material comprises a ceramic sintered body which is formed with pores dispersedly located therein. The pores are defined respectively by surface layers forming part of the ceramic sintered body. Each surface layer contains silicon in a content higher than that in other part of the ceramic sintered body. The porous ceramic material is prepared, for example, first by mixing ceramic powder and hollow particles each of which contains silicon so as to obtain a mixture; then by forming the mixture into a predetermined shape to obtain a formed body; and finally by sintering the formed body at a temperature higher than a melting point of each hollow particle to thus obtain the sintered body formed with pores and containing silicon.

The inner peripheral surface of the magnetic body has a plurality of teeth protruding therefrom, around which the coils are wound. The drive motor also includes a motor housing mounted to an outer periphery of the motor stator to retain the motor stator. The outer peripheral surface of the magnetic body includes cutout portion(s) formed at circumferential location(s) thereof, with the circumferential location(s) being at the same phase as those of the teeth. An inner peripheral surface of the motor housing includes engagement portion(s) formed at circumferential location(s) thereof, with the circumferential location(s) being opposed to the cutout portion(s). The engagement portion(s) is/are engageable with the cutout portion(s). The engagement portion(s) and the cutout portion(s) cooperate with each other to form arresting unit(s) for arresting the motor stator.
