    Abstract: Provided are: a resin composition in which a resin component has a reduced crystallinity; and a molded article of the same. The resin composition contains a polyolefin-based resin and a nucleating agent. In this resin composition, the nucleating agent is a nucleating agent that melts at a temperature 150° C. higher than the melting point of the polyolefin-based resin, or a nucleating agent that dissolves in the polyolefin-based resin at a temperature 150° C. higher than the melting point of the polyolefin-based resin; the nucleating agent, when added in an amount of 0.2 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the polyolefin-based resin, increases the crystallization temperature of the polyolefin-based resin by at least 7° C.; and the nucleating agent is contained in an amount of 0.005 parts by mass or more but less than 0.1 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the polyolefin-based resin.

    Abstract: Provided are: a nucleating agent capable of imparting excellent mechanical properties to a molded article; a resin composition; a method of producing a resin composition; and a molded article. The nucleating agent contains: (A) an aromatic phosphate metal salt having a structure represented by Formula (1) (wherein, R1 to R5 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; n represents 1 or 2; when n is 1, M1 represents an alkali metal or dihydroxyaluminum; and when n is 2, M1 represents an alkaline earth metal, zinc, or hydroxyaluminum); and (B) a carboxylic acid metal salt having a structure represented by Formula (2) (wherein, M2 represents an alkali metal, an alkaline earth metal, hydroxyaluminum, or dihydroxyaluminum; a represents 1 or 2; x represents 1 or 2; a and x satisfy ax=2; and Z represents a group having a structure represented by Formula (3) or (4)).

    Abstract: Provided are: a near-infrared absorbing agent and a near-infrared absorbing composition, which have excellent near-infrared absorbing capacity; and a near-infrared absorbing resin composition in which the physical properties intrinsic to a resin are not impaired.     Abstract: Provided are: a novel nucleating agent capable of imparting excellent transparency to synthetic resins; a synthetic resin composition containing the same; and a molded object of the synthetic resin composition. The nucleating agent contains at least one triazine compound represented by Formula (1), wherein Ar1, Ar2 and Ar3 each independently represent an unsubstituted phenyl group or a substituted phenyl group. In Formula (1), for example, the number of substituents of the substituted phenyl group is preferably 1, and Ar1, Ar2 and Ar3 are preferably all different groups.
