Abstract: Orthodontic treatment monitoring using intermediate devices. In one example, an orthodontic appliance case includes a near field communication (NFC) circuitry including a first antenna that is configured to receive data transmitted from a sensor module on an orthodontic appliance when the sensor module is within the orthodontic appliance case. The data may include information regarding when the orthodontic appliance was worn in a patient's mouth. The orthodontic appliance case may also include a data store configured to store the data, and a Bluetooth communication circuitry including a second antenna configured to transmit the data to an external computing device when the external computing device is within communication range of the second antenna.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to ornamental indicia carrier and method of producing the same. In some embodiments, the ornamental indicia carrier comprises an ultraviolet light (“UV”) cured ink printed on a thin flexible film and combined with an adhesive layer. The ornamental indicia carrier is capable of enduring the conditions inside the mouth for an extended period of time and can be used in conjunction with a dental appliance.

Abstract: The present invention provides methods and systems including orthodontic tooth positioning appliances. An exemplary appliance can include teeth receiving cavities shaped such that, when worn by a patient, repositioning the patient's teeth from a first arrangement toward a subsequent or target arrangement.
