摘要: A glass composition and a light extracting member using the same is provided, where the glass composition does not substantially contain a lead oxide and an alkali metal oxide and has a glass transition temperature of 530° C. or less and acid resistance property. An alkali-free cover glass composition is also provided which does not substantially contain a lead oxide and an alkali metal oxide; has a refractive index (nd) of 1.7 to 2.3; has a glass transition temperature of 530° C. or less; has a dissolution depth of less than 1.3 μm as measured by an acid dipping weight loss measurement method; and contains 8 to 25% of Nb2O5 in terms of mol % on the basis of an oxide thereof.

摘要: To provide a glass ceramic body, whereby light which transmits through the substrate and leaks (i.e. emits) out of the incident direction is reduced, and the number of voids at the surface of the substrate and in the inside of the substrate is low,A glass ceramic body 10 comprising a glass matrix 11 and flat fillers 12 dispersed therein, wherein the flat fillers 12 are dispersed in the glass matrix 11 so that their individual thickness directions would be substantially in the same direction; and in a cross-section along the thickness direction of the flat filler 12 in the glass matrix 11, the occupation area of the flat fillers 12 having a length in their flat direction of from 0.5 to 20 μm and a length in their thickness direction of from 0.02 to 0.25 μm per unit area of the cross-section is from 30 to 48%.

摘要: To provide a reflective frame for a light-emitting element, which can be preferably used for a light-emitting device having a metal member on which a light-emitting element is mounted, whereby the light extraction efficiency, the reliability and the productivity, etc. can be improved. A reflective frame for a light-emitting element, which is made of a sintered body comprising a glass material and a ceramic powder; and the sintered body is one fired at at most 900° C. and has a porosity of at most 15% and an average reflectance at a wave length of from 400 to 700 nm being at least 86% when the thickness is 1 mm.
