Abstract: We have disclosed methods of determining workout plans and sessions for an individual. The methods may include receiving input from the individual, determining a first type of workout based on the input, determining a plurality of workout sessions for the first type of workout for a workout plan, determining a second type of workout that is different than the first type of workout based on input from the individual, determining a plurality of workout sessions for the second type of workout for the workout plan, and storing data describing the workout plan, including data describing the workout sessions for the for the first and second types of workouts, in a memory accessible by a server computer system.

Abstract: We have disclosed systems and methods for monitoring an individual's performance during a physical activity. The systems may include a mount adapted to releasably secure the portable performance monitoring device to the individual's body during the physical activity and a main body coupled to the mount. The main body may include a satellite positioning system receiver adapted to obtain position points during the physical activity, a processor adapted to determine performance information for the individual based on position points during the physical activity, an output adapted to convey at least some of the performance information to the individual during the physical activity, and a user input adapted to be activated in response to the individual tapping.

Abstract: We have disclosed systems and methods for displaying information about a physical activity conducted by an individual. The methods may include defining a performance parameter zone for a particular performance parameter, receiving and storing in a memory device data associated with a physical activity, initiating a graphical display on a display screen that includes a representation of the route based on the received and stored data. The data may include a plurality of performance parameter data points correlated with a plurality of position points collected as the individual traversed a geographic route. The representation of the route may include multiple portions of the route having different visual characteristics corresponding to a portion of the route where the individual was or was not performing within the performance parameter zone.

Abstract: We have disclosed methods of determining workout plans and sessions for an individual. The methods may include receiving input from the individual, determining a first type of workout based on the input, determining a plurality of workout sessions for the first type of workout for a workout plan, determining a second type of workout that is different than the first type of workout based on input from the individual, determining a plurality of workout sessions for the second type of workout for the workout plan, and storing data describing the workout plan, including data describing the workout sessions for the for the first and second types of workouts, in a memory accessible by a server computer system.

Abstract: We have disclosed systems and methods for monitoring an individual's performance during a physical activity. The systems may include a mount adapted to releasably secure the portable performance monitoring device to the individual's body during the physical activity and a main body coupled to the mount. The main body may include a satellite positioning system receiver adapted to obtain position points during the physical activity, a processor adapted to determine performance information for the individual based on position points during the physical activity, an output adapted to convey at least some of the performance information to the individual during the physical activity, and a user input adapted to be activated in response to the individual tapping.
