摘要： A method for reporting uplink control information (UCI) by a user equipment (UE) is described. Downlink channels are measured to obtain channel state information (CSI). Radio resource control (RRC) signaling is received from an eNode B. It is determined whether simultaneous physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) and physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission is enabled. One or more CSI reports are transmitted on the PUSCH according to the RRC signaling.

The UE receives Radio Resource Control (RRC) signaling, receives a reference signal and determines a Channel Quality Indicator (CQI) based on the reference signal. The UE also determines a format for CQI transmission. If use of Format 3 is determined the UE determines cells for CQI reporting based on the RRC signaling and determines an encoding. The UE also encodes a feedback message based on the encoding and transmits the feedback message.

A second PMI corresponding to the MU-MIMO downlink transmission is generated using a second codebook set. The first PMI and the second PMI are sent to an eNode B in a channel state information (CSI) report.

摘要： A method of encoding that uses standard codecs such as linear encoders and decoders for encoding and decoding data with different levels of robustness to errors is described. In one configuration, multiple encoders may be utilized, and one of the encoders may use a standard encoder such as a turbo code followed by a nonlinearity that creates an unequal distribution of ones and zeros in a binary representation of the code. In another configuration, a coder may be utilized that represents message outputs as “channels” that create state transitions (or symbol errors) in a data forward error correction coder.
