摘要: A display device which can ensure sufficient adhesive strength between each pair of substrates of a liquid crystal display panel and a sealing material includes: a first substrate having a predetermined integrated circuit; a second substrate on one surface of the first substrate in an overlapping manner; and an adhesive material between the first substrate and the second substrate that has an annular planar shape. The adhesive material adheres the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein an outer periphery of the adhesive material includes a zone which includes a plurality of first portions passing substantially the same position as an outer periphery of the surface of the first substrate and a plurality of second portions each connected with the two neighboring first portions and having a center portion thereof in a peripheral direction retracted toward an inner peripheral side of the adhesive material.

摘要: To prevent inconsistency in images and support columns from collapsing when pressure is applied from outside in the case where liquid crystal is sealed in under negative pressure in order to prevent impact bubbles from being created in the liquid crystal display device in accordance with a liquid crystal dropping and sealing method.The distance between a TFT substrate 10 and a facing substrate 20 is set using first support columns 30, while second support columns 40 are located within contact holes 50 and do not make contact with the TFT substrate 10. When pressure is applied from outside, the second support columns 40 make contact with the side wall or the like of the contact holes 50 created in the TFT substrate 10, so that the repulsive force of the second support columns 40 prevents the distance between the TFT substrate 10 and the facing substrate 20 from becoming too small. As a result, inconsistency in images can be prevented, and the first support columns 30 can be prevented from collapsing when pressure is applied from outside.

摘要: A power converter includes an inverter in an inverter case, and a DC/DC converter in a converter case detachably fixed to the inverter case. The inverter includes power semiconductor modules, and the DC/DC converter includes a down-converter circuit and/or a boost converter circuit. The inverter case includes first and second path-forming members thermally contacting the converter case. In the first path-forming member, the power semiconductor module is inserted into a first coolant path. In the second path-forming member, the power semiconductor module inserted into the second coolant path, which is parallel to the first coolant path. The DC/DC converter includes an inductance device, and a switching device board on which a switching device con rolling electric current in the inductance device is mounted. The inductance and switching devices are in an area of the converter case thermally contacting first and second path forming members.
