摘要: In a process head for electrophotographic apparatus integrally formed with a charing/exposing chamber, a developing chamber, a drying chamber and a fixing chamber along the feeding direction of the film for recording and thereby made capable of processing plural frames of the recording film simultaneously, stage heads which constitute the respective processing chambers are fixed to a mounting member and a portion with charging mechanism is detachably inserted in the interval space between the stage head corresponding to the charging/exposing chamber and the mounting member so that its maintenance can be facilitated and the apparatus as a whole can be made compact in size.

摘要: A pipeline arranged so that any bubbles mixed in a liquid developer can be prevented from being delivered to a developing section. A main pipe through which the pumped developer flows is communicated at its lower end with a branched pipe. A branched pipe which is communicated with the developing section is connected to the branched pipe through a portion which is sloped downward in a direction in which the developer flows. Accordingly, air bubbles in the developer having reached the branched pipe are allowed to rise in the sloped portion to return to the branched pipe. There is therefore no fear of air bubbles being supplied to the developing section.

摘要: A developing apparatus wherein a developer is supplied to an exposed electrophotographic film to develop an image formed on the film has a developing section provided with an electrode which is disposed in opposing relation to the film. A bias voltage of the same polarity as that of the film which is electrically charged is applied to the electrode to prevent fogging of the image. The bias voltage is lowered or made opposite in polarity for a relatively short period of time, thereby momentarily improving the adhesion of the developer to the film, and thus allowing the developer to reliably adhere even to a relatively low density portion of the image.

摘要: A processing head for an electrophotographic apparatus has a developing section for developing an electrophotographic film with a liquid developer, and a drying section disposed adjacent to and on the downstream side of the developing section in the direction in which the film is advanced, to dry the film wetted with the developer by passing a gas in a direction that intersects the film advancing direction. The drying section is provided with a pair of frame members extending in a direction that intersects the film advancing direction so as to define both ends of the drying section in the film advancing direction. In addition, a pair of recesses are formed along opposing walls of the frame members, respectively. Accordingly, the flow rate of the gas passed through the recesses is higher than that of the gas passed along the other portion between the frame members.

摘要: The present invention provides an exposure processing method of a planographic printing plate including: providing an image recording layer containing a polymerizable compound which is solid at room temperature, a polymerization initiator, and a light-to-heat converting agent, and a microcapsule encapsulating at least one of the monomer and the polymerization initiator, such that the light energy quantity absorbed in the lower part of the image recording layer is more than the light energy quantity absorbed in the upper and middle parts of the image recording layer; exposing the image recording layer; and thereafter post-heating the image recording layer at a temperature in a range equal to or above the melting point of the monomer and below the glass transition point of the wall of the microcapsule. As a result, the printing resistance of a planographic printing plate is enhanced.

摘要: The method and apparatus make a printing plate such as a lithographic printing plate by exposing an original plate of the printing plate such as a presensitized plate in a substantially oxygen-free state. The method and apparatus deprive substantially of oxygen at least an exposed area of the original plate being exposed to light at least during exposure and expose the original plate to the light at a wavelength of between 250 nm and 420 nm. The original plate has on a support an image recording layer containing a polymerization initiator, a polymerizable compound and a binder polymer, being sensitive to the light at the wavelengths of between 250 nm and 420 nm, having no oxygen barrier layer, and being removable with a printing ink and/or a fountain solution. That is, a latent image is formed by photo-polymerization on the original plate and the original plate is subjected to development on a printing press.

摘要: A retainer is incorporated into a fitting portion of a housing so as to be movable between a preset position and a set position in a direction crossing terminal receiving holes. Further, a seal member is attached to an outer periphery of the fitting portion. The seal member is brought into close contact with an inner periphery of a fitting hole of a mating connector for sealing when the fitting portion is fitted to the fitting hole. The retainer has projections which retreat to the sides of the terminal receiving holes to allow insertion of terminals into the terminal receiving holes when the retainer is at the preset position and which project into the terminal receiving holes to engage with the terminals so as to hold the terminals in a come-off preventing state when the retainer is at the set position. The retainer and the seal member are provided at positions which overlap each other in a direction of fitting to the mating connector.

摘要: A printing plate processing apparatus provides a step in which a printing plate which has undergone image exposure is processed by being immersed in a developing solution, and the printing plate is delivered while the developing solution is being squeezed out from the printing plate by a conveying roller pair which is partially immersed in the developing solution. A stoppage time of the apparatus is measured, and the conveying roller pair is driven to rotate for an amount of time set in accordance with a measured result of the stoppage time when operation of the apparatus is started, thereby allowing the conveying rollers to be cleaned. A concentration of carbon dioxide in an environment in which the apparatus is installed is detected, and based on the detected result and the measured result of the apparatus stoppage time, the driving time of the conveying roller pair is set.
