摘要： In a probe for observing an ultrasonic image, which obtains the ultrasonic image of an object to be observed such as a body cavity by means of an ultrasonic transmitting and receiving means, a mechanical scanning operation of the ultrasonic transmitting and receiving means is performed by an ultrasonic driving means, and thus it is possible to obtain a good diagnosis image with no distortion and no flicker because noises of the driving means can be reduced.Therefore, an ultrasonic endoscope system and an ultrasonic video endoscope system etc. which utilize the probe mentioned above can display a good ultrasonic image and a good optical image.

摘要： An endoscope system having a cover type endoscope provided with an elongate inserting section having therein an observation device and an illuminating device and bulge portions formed on the outer periphery at the side of a forwardmost end of the inserting section; and an endoscope cover having an endoscope inserting passage for covering and protecting the inserting section. The endoscope inserting passage receives the inserting section using the bulge portions as a guide. The bulge portions project more than the outer periphery of the inserting section.

摘要： An endoscope system provided with an electronic or optical endoscope is provided therein with an illuminating optical system, an observation optical system, a flow passage system and a forceps channel. Cleaning and disinfection operations are performed on the endoscope so that the endoscope is reusable. An electronic or optical cover type endoscope is provided therein with an illuminating optical system and an observation optical system. The cover type endoscope is used with an endoscope cover having a flow passage system and a forceps channel mounted on the cover type endoscope. The endoscope cover is discarded and replaced whereby the cover type endoscope is reused. Peripheral equipment for endoscope inspection used in combination with the endoscopes is capable of being selectively connected to any of the endoscopes.

A first passage and a fluid supply pump are connected to the nozzle to supply fluid to it. A second passage and a suction pump are connected to the sucking opening. Connected to the first and second passages are a third passage and a pump for circulating the fluid in such a way that it is sucked through the sucking opening and jetted through the nozzle.

摘要： When a guide wire 5 is maximally raised on a treatment instrument raising stand 35, a distal point of the guide wire 5 is operated so as to be capable of always observing a papillary opening portion 7, which is a subject to be treated, from the front (in a basic position where the portion to be treated is positioned at the center of the field of view). The treatment instrument raising stand 35 is maximally raised in order that the tilt angle β of the guide wire 5 is equal to the tilt angle α of a central axis of a field of view of an observation window 30. Then, the guide wire 5 is fixed and a treatment instrument such as a drainage tube is replaced, whereby a treatment instrument can be easily and more safely replaced via the guide wire 5.
