    摘要: Described is a method for controlling a temperature downstream of a catalyst in the exhaust tract of an internal combustion engine including a first control loop in which a first control variable is calculated from a first deviation that is calculated from a first actual value and a first setpoint value and influences an intra-engine heat generation. In the process, the first actual value is determined as a measure of a temperature downstream of the catalyst. The method features a second control loop in which at least one second control variable is calculated from a second deviation that is calculated from a second actual value and a second setpoint value; a temperature upstream of the catalyst being determined as the second actual value. Also described is a controller which controls the sequence of such a method.

    摘要: A method for operating a component part situated in an exhaust gas region of an internal combustion engine, and a device for carrying out the method are proposed, in which, in a first operating phase, an exhaust gas component is embedded, and which, in a second operating phase, is regenerated from the exhaust gas component. The second operating phase may be started both as a function of the operating state of the component part and/or as a function of the operating state of the internal combustion engine, and also by an external start signal. If there is an external start signal present, the second operating phase is preferably only started if, at the same time, at least one additional conditions is satisfied. The external start signal is made available, for instance, by a diagnostic unit which is connected via a diagnosis interface.

    摘要: Proposed are a procedure to regenerate an exhaust gas purification system, which is set up in an exhaust area of a combustion engine, which is installed as a driving motor in a vehicle, and a device to perform the procedure. The exhaust gas purification system is regenerated of at least one stored exhaust component during the regeneration. A reserve-tank-level, warning when reached, is increased depending on a regeneration-demand of the exhaust gas purification system. With the procedure according to the invention it can be secured, that a vehicle cannot break down with an empty tank because of regeneration. Furthermore it can be secured, that the regeneration can be performed completely within the remaining range of the vehicle.

The air flow setpoint value for the throttle valve is changed following occurrence of a request for heating and/or regenerating the exhaust emission control device. A first diagnostics of the throttle valve provides an error signal in the event of a throttle valve error. When the error signal and the request are present, a switch is made in a characteristics map from a first or a second dataset to an additional dataset on the basis of which at least one control signal of the internal combustion engine is provided.

    摘要: The invention relates to a quantity control valve for a fuel injection system, used in internal combustion engines, with a longitudinal slide that is movable in a valve housing between a restoring spring chamber and a control chamber and that allocates the fuel, flowing in from at least one low-pressure pump, to at least one high-pressure pump. For driving the longitudinal slide, the inflowing fuel in the control chamber is delivered past the longitudinal slide via a throttle or baffle valve. In the closing position, firstly, a cylindrical guide region of the longitudinal slide bounded on both sides by annular grooves blocks off an inlet bore. The guide region is wider than the diameter of the inlet bore. Secondly, it covers an outlet bore except for a partial intersection with the relieved annular groove shifted into the return in the opening direction of the longitudinal slide. By the disposition of the inlet and outlet bores in combination with the contour of the longitudinal slide, a zero quantity feed can be unambiguously represented in the blocking position of the longitudinal slide.
