摘要: Disclosed is a method of forming an electrically conductive circuit comprising the steps of: preparing a transferring paper in which an assembly of electrically conductive foil carrying a predetermined pattern and an insulating layer containing glass frit and an overcoat layer consisting of a resin film having good burning property are provided on a transferring paper covered with a paste layer; removing an integral structure of the conductive foil, the insulating layer, and the overcoat layer from the transferring paper; transferring the removed integral structure onto a substrate; and burning the substrate with the integral structure set thereon at a temperature where the glass is soften. According to this method, it is possible to eliminate transformation or damage of a conductive foil where a conductive foil is singly disposed on a substrate.

摘要: This is to introduce a strain sensor of high quality and excellent durability. This strain sensor is composed of a basic metal body, a crystallized glass layer formed over the surface of the basic metal body, and a resistance element that changes its resistance value by strain changes and is built on the glass layer surface. By this structure, where the crystallized glass layer fired at a high temperature is employed, both of the composition, the basic metal body and the glass layer, are fused with each other at the boundary plane, making their adhesion very strong. No peeling between the basic metal body and the glass layer will take place even under the severe environmental conditions such as high temperature and heavy load.

摘要: An optical waveguide comprising cladding 1 and core segment 20 buried in cladding 1 and serving as a waveguide, wherein a combination of glass material constituting the core segment 20 and another glass material constituting the cladding 1 is so selected that an absolute value of difference in coefficient of thermal expansion between these materials (α1-α2) is within a range of 0 and 9×10−7° C., where α1 denotes a coefficient of thermal expansion of the former material and α2 denotes that of the latter material. Since this makes possible to bond directly the glass materials having different refraction factors and different coefficients of thermal expansion, and to produce the optical waveguide at even a lower temperature as compared to the prior art method as an upper cladding layer is formed with the sputtering method, it realizes reduction in number of processes and time of manufacture, thereby providing the optical waveguide of low transmission loss at low cost, as well as a method of manufacturing the same.
