    摘要： A pressure-sensitive recording material of the type which is prepared by using an electron donating dye-precursor that produces a color when the dye-precursor is brought into contact with an electron accepting color developer. The pressure-sensitive recording material is characterized in that the solvent for said dye-precursor comprises an alkylated fraction which is prepared by alkylating a by-product fraction with at least one alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, the by-product fraction containing the components within the boiling range of 255.degree. to 300.degree. C. on the atmospheric pressure basis and being obtained in the process for producing ethylbenzene or ethyltoluene from ethylene and benzene or toluene. The pressure-sensitive recording material of the invention has scarcely offensive odor and can develop a dense color with a higher color developing rate.

    摘要： A recording material prepared by using a solvent mixture which has excellent dissolving property for dye-precursors and which gives high color developing rate and high developed color density. The recording material comprises a sheet material having thereon a layer of microcapsules containing an electron donating dye-precursor and a solvent mixture for said dye-precursor, and is characterized in that said solvent mixture consists essentially of 5 to 50 wt % of 1-methyl-3-phenylindane and 95 to 50 wt % of at least one kind of diarylalkanes.

    摘要： (Purpose) A construction for mounting a load-sensing element for use with a vehicle, in which construction no measurement error is resulted even if the slide plate contacts the leaf spring at different contacting points. (Construction) The sensing element 21 is composed of opposed walls forming a substantially U-shape in both front and side views thereof and having a hollow portion therein, and a plate-like member made of a magnetic material, which plate-like member being inserted into the hollow portion and threaded by a coil to be held therein, wherein the mounting location 15f of the slide plate 15 is a groove into which said sensing element 21 is fitted; wherein the construction further includes a lid which fits over the sensing element and a wedge-like key inserted under the sensing element for fixing the sensing element. The output of the sensing elements are added together so as to output a sum of the outputs of the sensing elements.

The solvent is characterized in that it comprises a fraction having boiling points in the range of 270.degree. to 350.degree. C. which is prepared by distilling the heavier products obtained from the process for producing ethyltoluene by alkylating toluene with ethylene in the presence of synthetic zeolite catalyst.
