摘要： A universal mount for a rifle comprises an upper rail having a plurality of traverse ribs running from the back of the upper receiver to the gas block, and a hand guard surrounding the barrel. The hand guard has side mounts allowing the addition of accessory devices such as flashlights and laser sights. A lower rail, designed to accept a grenade launcher and a bayonet, resides between the barrel and the hand guard. A heat shield is attached to the hand guard to protect the marksman from injury. A semicircular retaining ring locks the hand guard to the gas block by means of a throughhole which matingly engages a pin located in the muzzle end of the hand guard. When in place, the present invention provides a weapons' platform which achieves and maintains continuous alignment between the sight line of any optical attachments and the direction of a barrel that has become deformed due to thermal stress. The present invention can be used alone or in conjunction with a ballistic optimization system and can be backfitted onto an existing rifle without altering its basic components.

The anti-inversion part can be a washer, a plate, a plug, or a sleeve. The washer, which has a flat face and a curved face, is intended for use with a cylindrical support pin which matches the curved face of the washer. The plate can include various combinations of tabs, flanges, and/or protrusions that extend in different directions. The plug can resemble any desirable shape, and is removed prior to final assembly. The sleeve can be hollow and is removable.

A protocol task processes communication on the network according to first and second protocol stacks, wherein messages are assigned to either the first or second protocol stack. Messages assigned to the first protocol stack have a higher priority than messages assigned to the second protocol stack. A set of application tasks communicates with the protocol task for responding to an incoming message from the communication network and initiating an outgoing message to the communication network. An interconnection bus with an interface driver is operably connected with the at least one IED.

The method includes processing the access request at an access hub remote to the first device. An internal node is used to open an encrypted connection to a connection manager based on the access request. A communication session is established in which communications between the second device and the first device are forwarded through the connection manager and the internal node by using the encrypted connection.

摘要： A wet electrolytic capacitor that contains a sintered anode positioned with an interior space of a metal casing is provided. The anode and metal casing are of a size such that the anode occupies a substantial portion of the volume of the interior space. More particularly, the anode typically occupies about 70 vol. % or more, in some embodiments about 75 vol. % or more, in some embodiments from about 80 vol. % to about 98 vol. %, and in some embodiments, from about 85 vol. % to 95 vol. % of the interior space. Among other things, the use of an anode that occupies such a large portion of the interior space enhances volumetric efficiency and other electrical properties of the resulting capacitor.
