摘要： Lubricating compositions comprise a lubricating base oil having dissolved therein small proportions of (a) an organic phosphite of formula where the R's are alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or aralkyl groups and the molecule has a total of 2-20 carbon atoms, and (b) another oil-soluble organic phosphorus compound of formula where X is O or S and Y is R1O- or where the R's are as in (a), R2 and R3 are hydrogen or alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or aralkyl groups or together with the nitrogen atom form a ring which, apart from the nitrogen, is made up of hydrocarbon groups or hydrocarbon groups and a second hetero atom, e.g. oxygen, and the molecule has a total of 2-30 carbon atoms. Suitable base oils are refined mineral oils, a polyglycol ether, a silicate ester, a silicone, or any of numerous types of organic ester, including diesters formed between dicarboxylic acids and alcohols or phenols, complex esters, and esters of trimethylolpropane or pentaerythritol. The additives (b) include phosphates, phosphorothionates, and phosphoramidates. In the latter case, a minor amount of an amine may be added as a solubilizer in certain cases, suitable amines being di-n-amylamine, dodecylamine and cyclohexylamine.
