摘要: A water-in-fuel emulsion composition containing a Fischer-Tropsch derived fuel and water, and its use in a compression ignition engine is provided. Emissions, for example of NOx, black smoke and/or particulate matter, are lower as compared to conventional fuels but without lengthening the ignition delay and reducing the cetane number. This is achieved without the need for, or at reduced levels of, ignition improving additives, and without engine modifications.

摘要: A fuel composition is provided containing (i) a base fuel, (ii) a Fischer-Tropsch derived gas oil and (iii) an oxygenate. The components (ii) and (iii) can be used in a tertiary fuel blend with a base fuel (i) for the purpose of achieving for the composition (a) a neutral or close to neutral effect on elastomeric components compared to that of the base fuel, and/or (b) a neutral or better emissions performance (in particular with respect to NOx and/or particulate emissions) compared to that of the base fuel, preferably in addition to a neutral or close to neutral density for the composition with respect to that of the base fuel.

摘要: A wearable biofeedback device is provided. The device preferably includes a glove structure and external display device. The glove has at least one sheath for receiving a digit. The glove and sheath include dorsal and palmer surfaces. The palmer surfaces include at least one sensor for acquiring a bio-signal. The dorsal surface includes a compartment for containing an electronics control module. The electronics module is contained in the compartment, and is in communication with the sensor. A circuit system, accommodated in the electronics module, includes an analog to digital converter, a processor for performing an analysis and translation of the digitized bio-signals into a biometric measurement data, a battery, and a wirelessly transmission module for performing wirelessly transmission to the external device. The external device is wirelessly communicated with the glove through the wireless transmission module, and is adapted to display the biometric measurement data in an audio or visual display.
