摘要： Hydrophobic silica aerogels obtainable by reacting a waterglass solution with an acid at a pH of from 7.5 to 11, substantially removing ionic constituents from the resulting silica hydrogels by washing with water or dilute aqueous solutions of inorganic bases, while the pH of the hydrogels is kept in the range from 7.5 to 11, displacing the aqueous phase contained in the hydrogel by an alcohol, and subsequent supercritical drying of the resulting alcogels.

摘要： An apparatus is disclosed which serves to insert and/or remove printed circuit boards into and out of slotted change pallets which are adapted to hold printed circuit boards in a generally vertical orientation and out of contact with each other. A roller conveyor is provided for conveying each printed circuit board in a horizontal orientation into a pivoted board holder or gripper, which is adapted to grip the printed circuit board preferably at its leading edge and to move the printed circuit board to a position in which the printed circuit board is substantially vertical and disposed over one of the slots formed in a change pallet that has been positioned below the board holder or gripper. The board holder or gripper is adapted to perform an outward pivotal movement from the bottom edge of the generally vertical board as the change pallet is advanced further.

摘要： A so-called stack stove, especially for the burning of solid fuels and particularly wood has a hood or apron extending downwardly and outwardly along the upper portion of at least its front above the opening into the combustion chamber. A window door is mounted so as to be shiftable upwardly into the hood and locked therein so that it is substantially completely concealed by the hood when the stove is operated in a fireplace mode. In its lower position the door closes the chamber opening and the stove can function as a sealed stove with limited air entry for efficient combustion.

摘要： This invention relates to a process and an apparatus for cutting and trimming printed circuit board workpieces, particularly printed multilayer circuit board workpieces, which are cut to an exactly predetermined, selectable size at high speed in an operation in which the workpieces are subjected only to relatively low stresses. The workpieces are cut and trimmed and are profiled at each of their edges in a single operation. This is accomplished by means of two circular sawblades, which extend in a common plane and have interdigitating sawteeth, which preferably have diamond cutting edges. The interdigitating sawteeth of the two sawblades cut into the workpiece from opposite broadsides and the sawteeth of each of the sawblades penetrate into the workpiece only in part of its thickness. As a result, the circuit board workpiece is cut and trimmed without a formation of burrs and in the same operation is formed with at its edge portion with a profile that is determined by the profile of those side faces of said sawteeth which face said edge portion.

摘要： A winding assembly for a vehicle safety belt system is provided with a belt rolling device and a high speed turning device adapted upon actuation of a propellant charge to wind the safety belt at high speeds as a result of the generation of pyrotechnical gases. The high speed turning device and the belt rolling device are interconnected when a given rate of vehicle deceleration is achieved and the high speed turning device is constructed with a rotatably mounted shaft, a pair of annular chambers extending about the shaft, a pair of vanes affixed to the shaft each extending into one of the annular chambers, a first blade fixed within one of the annular chambers and arranged to be engaged by one of the vanes and a second blade extending into the other of the annular chambers and arranged to be engaged by the other vane with the second blade being mounted in driving relationship through the interconnecting means to impart driving rotation of the shaft to the belt rolling device when the high speed turning device is driven by the pyrotechnical gases. The fixed blade is adapted to engage the first vane in order to stop rotation of the vanes and winding of the safety belt.

摘要： An apparatus for storing and transporting printed circuit boards is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a body having a base defining an upwardly facing support surface for supporting a stack of printed circuit boards. The support surface may optionally have a slight rearward inclination. Elongate annular members are secured to the base on both sides and extend adjacent to the supporting surface and remotely therefrom in the direction in which the stack of printed circuit boards is to be arranged. Liners are provided with holes through which the annular members extend so that the liners are movable between a suspended stand-by position to an operative position in which the liners are horizontally supported on or are vertically suspended between adjacent printed circuit boards. Two symmetrically arranged synchronized belt drives are mounted on the base and comprise belts extending parallel to elongate annular members. Each belt defines an elongate hole, which is similar to and registers with the elongate hole defined by the adjacent annular members. Each of the belt drives comprises a rotating gripper having two gripping jaws, each of which is pivotally movable by a stationary actuator. Sensors automatically position the grippers near one of the liners regardless of the position of the liner.

摘要： The apparatus comprises a board-clamping device for clamping a printed circuit board at an edge thereof in a predetermined position, at least one pair of gripping jaws, which can be moved toward and away from the plane of travel for the printed circuit boards by a movement having a component in the peeling direction, which is oblique to the direction of conveyance. The two gripping jaws of said pair are adapted to be closed in that only one jaw of said pair is moved in the peeling direction. Each of the jaws of the pair has an edge which is parallel to the plane of travel and transverse to the peeling direction. Said edge is engageable with the printed circuit board. Said edges of the gripping jaws of said pair define between them a nip. The apparatus also comprises a conveyor, which defines a plane of travel for each printed circuit board and serves to move each printed circuit board to a position in which the printed circuit board is engageable by the gripping jaws of said pair thereof.
