    Abstract: Implementations of the disclosed subject matter provide a method of transmitting, from a mobile robot device, sound and/or at least one image captured by a sensor to a remote user device. The mobile robot device may receive at least one first control operation for the mobile robot device to move within an area via a communications network from a remote user device. An audio signal may be transmitted based on sound received at a microphone of the mobile robot device in the area. The audio signal received from the remote user device may be output at a speaker of the mobile robot device. A volume of the audio signal output by the speaker may be adjusted based on a size of the area and on an average or a median of an amplitude of frequencies in the area based on the sound received by the microphone.

    Abstract: Implementations of the disclosed subject matter provide receiving a command at a communications interface, touch interface, microphone, or input device of a mobile robot device. A processor of the mobile robot device controls a drive system to follow a person or guide the person based on the command, and based on input received from one or more sensors of the mobile robot device. The processor controls drive system to stop following or guiding the person, based on at least one predetermined condition from a decision tree stored in a memory that is accessible by the processor.

    Abstract: Implementations of the disclosed subject matter may provide a method that includes emitting, using a light source of a mobile robot, ultraviolet (UV) light to disinfect at least a portion of an area, including the at least one of air, a surface, and an object, where the UV light may be emitted onto one or more exposure sensors disposed in the area. A processor of the mobile robot may plot a representation of the emission of the UV light onto a map of the area to generate an exposure plot, where the representation is of the UV light emitted. The mobile robot may receive images from and/or disinfection levels measured by the one or more exposure sensors. The method may include generating a validation report that includes the exposure plot, images of the exposure sensors, and/or the disinfection levels measured by the one or more exposure sensors.

    Abstract: Implementations of the disclosed subject matter provide methods of transmitting, from a first user device, an authorization to one or more other user devices to receive one or more images captured by a first sensor of a mobile robot device, where the first user device controls the mobile robot device. The first user device may receive acknowledgement from the one or more other user devices to receive the one or more images captured by the first sensor of the mobile robot device. The mobile robot device may transmit, to the first user device and the one or more other user devices based on the acknowledgement, the one or more first images captured by the first sensor of the mobile robot as the mobile robot device moves within the area based on at least one first control operation received from the first user device.
