摘要: In an exemplary embodiment, a recording head and recording carrier are movable relative to one another for the purpose of recording several measurement signals on the recording carrier. It is the object of the disclosure to produce such a recording device which, with the lowest possible technical outlay, offers an optimum variation possiblity in the recording of a plurality of individual signals. This object is achieved in accordance with the disclosure by virtue of the fact that there is allocated, to an individual recording head as the recording element on the recording carrier, a variable number; e.g., between one and sixteen, of recording channels for measurement signals, into which recording channels the recording head can be driven by motor drive in chronological succession for the purpose of recording the signals in time-division multiplex operation, whereby the width of a respectively preselected channel or subchannel is prescribed by a width selector which determines the widths corresponding to a width program to be adjusted on the latter in advance, and to which a width/voltage converter is connected which, corresponding to the width of the channel generates a more or less rapidly rising ramp voltage (U.sub.R), which, together with the signal values obtained in the time-division multiplex operation, is supplied to a comparator for the comparison and output of a recording signal to the recording head for the purpose of recording a signal point in the case of equality of the voltage values.

摘要: In a method and a ventilator device for measuring the functional residual capacity, FRC, of lungs, a trace gas is mixed with a breathing gas in a gas mixer and the mixture os fed into the lungs via an inspiratory tube. When a predetermined concentration of trace gas is achieved in the lungs, the supply of trace gas is stopped, and a washout phase starts. During the washout phase, the concentration of trace gas in expired gas and the flow of expired gas are measured. The measurement values are sent to an analyzer which calculates the volume of trace gas in the lungs. Functional residual capacity can then be determined from the calculated volume of trace gas. The trace gas is preferably SF.sub.6.

摘要: A method and apparatus for rapid analysis of a sample medium, particularly a flowing sample medium employ light of a defined wavelength which is guided onto a luminescent layer in contact with the sample medium, the luminescent properties of the layer varying in dependence upon characteristics of the sample medium which are to be analyzed. The luminescent light is monitored by detectors, the detector signals being a measure for the characteristic of interest. For undertaking identification of a particular characteristic with very short follow-up time, even in the presence of a number of other characteristics which influence the luminescent properties, the luminescent intensity is identified for a number of different wavelength regions corresponding in number to the number of characteristics, each characteristic differently influencing the luminescent properties in at least one wavelength region. The signals thus obtained are supplied to a processing device for identifying the value of the characteristic of interest.

摘要: A device which supplies breathing gas mixed with an additive gas to a patient for pulmonary diagnosis or pulmonary treatment includes a gas mixing unit through which a relatively large flow of breathing gas is achieved from a first gas source through a first pressure regulator and a second pressure regulator. The breathing gas passes through a connecting tube from which the patient can breathe spontaneously through an inspiration tube, thereby inhaling air from the connecting tube. Expired gas passes via an expiration tube to the connecting tube. Additive gas is supplied from a separate gas source via a second pressure regulator and a second flow regulator. The additive gas is supplied in a flow which is considerably smaller than the flow of breathing gas, permitting a very small but accurate concentration of the additive gas to be achieved in the breathing gas. The large flow prevents a reactive additive gas from reacting before being supplied to the patient.
