摘要: An instrumented capsule for nuclear fuel irradiation tests in research reactors. The capsule includes an outer shell; a rod tip assembly assembled to a lower end plate of the shell, thus absorbing impact; fuel rod assemblies supported in the shell by means of support tubes and housing therein sintered fuel bodies and in-capsule instruments, such as thermocouples and self-powered neutron detectors (SPND); a protective tube connected to the upper end plate and protecting instrument control cables; and a guide pipe connected to the inclined extension part of a junction tree and guiding the instrument control cables to a control unit provided outside the reactor. The capsule further includes upper and lower end caps provided around the upper and lower ends of the shell; and a lower stopper and an upper stopper fitted over the protective tube to be supported in the upper portion of the irradiation hole of the reactor and to be locked to the locking clamp provided at the upper portion of the chimney of the reactor, respectively. The capsule is used to measure in real time the properties of nuclear fuels irradiated in the reactor during a nuclear fuel irradiation test, thus providing nuclear fuel irradiation test data required for the design of nuclear fuels and the determination of in-pile performance and structural integrity of the nuclear fuels.

摘要: An optical payment transceiver and an optical settlement system using the same uses a personal portable terminal incorporated with an optical transceiver as a card substitute payment unit for settlement. Here, card information is incorporated in a personal portable terminal incorporated with an optical transceiver such as a portable phone or a PDA and the optical transceiver is connected to a card inquiry machine to thereby optically transmit and receive card information. The card inquiry machine recognizes the received card information in the same manner as that of the card reader reading a magnetic card, and transmits the card information to a VAN company server or a card company server, to then request for an approval and settle transactions. The present invention is applied to most fields where financial transactions are performed as in a general commerce, a toll gate fee or tunnel passage fee collection system, a subway or bus fare levying system, a gas station, a department store, a drive-thru ordering system, a vending machine, and a fee payment system of kiosks. Also, the present invention can be applied to an entrance/exit security system requiring personal identification. Thus, the present invention can use a portable terminal as a payment unit without carrying a cash or cards, to thereby provide an effect of performing a safer and more reliable credit transaction.

摘要: Disclosed is a polyester conjugated yarn, including two types of polymers having a large intrinsic viscosity difference subjected to bi-component spinning so as to be longitudinally arranged in a side-by-side sectional structure, in which the twp types of polymers are polyethyleneterephthalate having intrinsic viscosity of 0.45-0.65 as a first polymer and polytrimethyleneterephthalate having intrinsic viscosity of 0.90-1.10 as a second polymer. The polyester conjugated yarn is advantageous in terms of superior spinnability and high uniformity index. In addition, the polyester conjugated yarn can exhibit high self-crimping properties through relaxation-heat treatment of the dyeing and finishing process, and as well, can be applied to manufacture woven/knit fabrics having softness to the touch, beautiful colors, and high drapery and bulk properties, due to inherent characteristics of polytrimentyleneterephthalate.

摘要: A vapor deposition source has a reduced size by disposing a crucible, a heating portion, and a nozzle portion in one defined space. A vapor deposition apparatus deposits deposition materials on a substrate using the vapor deposition source. The vapor deposition source includes a housing, and the crucible is mounted in the housing for vaporizing the deposition materials. The heating portion is installed adjacent to the crucible in the housing for heating the crucible. The nozzle portion injects the vaporized deposition materials into a substrate disposed at an exterior of the housing through an injection nozzle. The vapor deposition source is manufactured in a smaller and lightweight form in comparison with conventional vapor deposition sources in which a crucible and a nozzle portion are arranged in different spaces. The diameter and number of injection nozzles of the invention are restricted to block radiant heat discharged from the vapor deposition source, so that deposition materials are uniformly deposited. Furthermore, the output power of a conveyer for conveying the vapor deposition source is reduced. In addition, a plurality of vapor deposition sources is arranged in a line to perform concentrated deposition of deposition materials so that quality of the resultant product is improved.

摘要: A washing machine filter having improved structures of a drain filter and a drain casing so that foreign substances are effectively eliminated from wash water, thereby making itless necessary to frequently clean the drain filter. The drain filter includes a filter member having filter holes and filter protrusions, and a hand lever rotatably connected to the front end of the filter member. The filter protrusions, having a length larger than the depth of the filter holes, are perpendicularly protruded upward from the surface of the filter member, and each of the filter holes has a hexagonal shape. The drain filter can be detachable from the drain casing through a filter entrance formed in the front surface of the drain casing. A guide plate can be positioned at the rear end of the filter member, and a guide protrusion corresponding to the guide plate can be formed at the filter entrance, thereby permitting alignment of the drain filter within the drain casing.
