摘要： In a method for synchronizing a mobile radio receiver with a radio signal time slot structure a first portion, detected during a first time slot period, and a second portion, detected during a later time slot period, of a received time slot synchronization code sequence is correlated with the known time slot synchronization code sequence sent out by the base station in the receiver. From the two obtained coxrelation results, the position of the time slots in time is determined.

摘要： A turbo decoder is used in a method for blockwise decoding a data signal that is error protection coded at a transmitter and that is detected in a receiver. The turbo decoder includes two feedback symbol estimators. In order to calculate its output values, at least one of the symbol estimators executes, with reference to a data block being considered, a plurality of forward and/or backward recursions over subintervals of the data block.

摘要： A method for synchronizing a mobile radio receiver with a frame structure of a radio signal received from a specific base station assumes that each base station transmits a predefined, individual sequence of frame synchronization codes for each frame. The synchronization codes are detected and decoded in the mobile radio receiver and a characteristic code parameter is allocated to them. The sequence transmitted by the specific base station is identified on the basis of the code parameters and the start and end times of the sequence are defined. The mobile radio receiver is frame-synchronized with these times.

The symbol estimator performs two symbol estimations, and the DSP performs an interleaving and deinterleaving procedure, within a computing loop of the iterative turbo decoding.
