摘要： A system is provided for contaminant removal. The system includes an inlet for transmitting a contaminated solution and a reverse osmosis membrane having at least one flow modifier. The reverse osmosis membrane is configured to separate condensate and permeate from the contaminated solution. The system also includes a porous central tube for carrying the permeate and an outlet for the condensate. A method is also provided for removing contaminants from a solution.

Payer tenders an electronic payment through a web-based user interface and a notice is transmitted to Payee that funds are available for transfer if Payee chooses to accept the payment. Payee has the opportunity to manually review the details of the incoming payment and can choose to accept the payment, in which case, funds are transferred to Payee, or reject it, in which case the transfer of the funds is cancelled and no payment is made to the Payee. The Payee may also define a set of rules or conditions (including lower acceptance amount or partial conditions in case of negotiations), which would govern the automatic acceptance processing of the transaction.

摘要： Processing a two dimensional (2D) barcode using a mobile telecommunications terminal having an image scanner includes obtaining a scanned image of the 2D barcode from the image scanner, decoding the image to obtain data, including a web address, and associating an identifier with the decoded web address, such that the identifier is identifiable by a remote proxy server to obtain information relating to the use of the barcode. A browser of the mobile terminal transmits a web page request including the decoded web address and the identifier. The web page request may be identified as originating from a 2D barcode at a server in a mobile telecommunications network. The request is received from a mobile terminal, an inserted identifier is identified in the request, and a record is saved, the record including an identifier of the mobile terminal or a user of the mobile terminal and the web page address.

After identification of the migratory pathways for each haplogroup present in the target population, the major geographic regions along each migratory pathway where the haplogroups spent significant time are identified. Based on the major geographic regions identified, natural whole foods indigenously present in major geographic regions are then identified and incorporated into a nutritional supplement.

摘要： The present invention is a gas turbine engine system containing a compressor stage, a pulse detonation stage, and a turbine stage. During operation of the engine system, compressed flow from the compressor stage is directed to at least one off-axis pulse detonation tube in the pulse detonation stage. The off-axis pulse detonation tube detonates a mixture containing the compressed flow and a fuel to create a detonation wave, which is routed to an inlet portion of a reverse flow turbine. The exhaust flow from the reverse flow turbine is then directed away from the engine through ducting.
