    摘要： A novel imidazole derivative type reagent for analysis of hydrogen peroxide, a method of analysis of hydrogen peroxide using the same, a method of analysis of peroxidase using the same, and a multilayer chemicalanalytical element containing the same are disclosed.The imidazole derivative has the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 represent an aryl group or a substituted aryl group, and R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are identical with or different from each other, and R.sup.3 represents 2- or 3-pyrrolyl group, a substituted 2- or 3-pyrrolyl group, 2- or 3-indolyl group, or a substituted 2- or 3-indolyl group.

    摘要： An image reading apparatus includes a transport path for transporting an original from an original tray to a reading position; a reading device for reading the original at a reading position; a determining device for determining whether the original includes a black and white image or color image; a circulating path for returning the original to the reading position without turning over the original; a discharge path for guiding the original from the reading position to a discharge tray; and selection means for selecting one of the circulating path and the discharge path. The image reading apparatus reads the same side of the original fed from the circulating path again according to a result of the determining device.

    摘要： A recording material comprising a support, a layer of a light-sensitive composition on the support, and a transparent film on the layer of the light-sensitive composition wherein the light-sensitive composition comprises (a) a monomer containing at least two addition polymerizable unsaturated bonds and having a boiling point of at least 100.degree. C, (b) polyvinyl butyral, and (c) a photopolymerization initiator represented by the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is an alkyl group which may be substituted or a vinyl-methyl group, R.sub.2 is an alkyl group, aryl group, or thienyl group, and Z is a group of non-metallic atoms required for forming a heterocyclic ring.After the recording material is imagewise exposed to light, the transparent film is peeled off while heating at about 70.degree. to 150.degree. C, whereby a positive or negative image is formed on each of the support and transparent film.
