    摘要: An apparatus and method for selecting physical cylinders (cylinders accessible for read/write operations) in a disc drive is provided. The disc drive includes at least one rotatable disc. The disc drive also includes a first head, which is positionable adjacent a first disc surface, and a second head, which is positionable adjacent a second disc surface. The first disc surface has a first plurality of greycode tracks and the second disc surface has a second plurality of greycode tracks. Each greycode track of the second plurality of greycode tracks corresponds to a different greycode track of the first plurality of greycode tracks, thereby forming a plurality of greycode cylinders, with each greycode cylinder of the plurality of greycode cylinders including a pair of corresponding greycode tracks. The physical cylinders are a subset (less than all) of the plurality of the greycode cylinders. The method of selecting the physical cylinders includes determining whether the first plurality of greycode tracks or the second plurality of greycode tracks demonstrates greater track eccentricity, to thereby obtain a maximum track eccentricity surface and a corresponding maximum eccentricity head. The maximum track eccentricity surface is one of the first and second disc surfaces and the maximum eccentricity head is a corresponding one of the first and second heads. The maximum eccentricity head is used to locate at least one of the physical cylinders.

    摘要: A method of notifying resource allocation for Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS) is provided. A base station notifies to a user equipment a power offset value between an average EPRE value for data symbols and an average EPRE value for the DMRS at each layer in a semi-static or static manner. Also, the base station dynamically notifies to the user equipment a current channel rank or a current DMRS distribution pattern for the user equipment. The user equipment determines an allocated DMRS antenna port based on a correspondence between the received channel rank and an allocation of DMRS antenna port, thereby obtaining resource allocation information for the DMRS. The signaling overhead for power allocation in the system can be reduced, the efficiency of power amplifier can be improved and the flexibility of system scheduling can be increased. A method of notifying antenna port resource allocation for DMRS is also provided.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method and a coder for jointly coding Pre-coding Matrix Index #1 (W1) and Rank Index (RI) for channel state information feedback of a double codebook precoding frame. In the present invention, it is determined whether Rank Index RI is more than 2; if the RI is no more than 2, a first half branch of a coding binary tree is used to represent joint coding of the RI and W1 when RI=1 and RI=2; if the RI is more than 2, a second half branch of the coding binary tree is used to represent remaining separate codings and/or joint codings when the RI is more than 2; and processing results of the above coding steps are output. The present invention may be applied to an equal-length coding or an unequal-length coding. The present invention has advantages such as easy implementation, lower signaling overhead etc., and may be suitable for an LTE-A/4G cellular communication system and a future 5G cellular communication system.

The present invention provides also a serving cell, a cooperative cell and a user equipment for feeding back the identification information and channel state information of the selected transmit-ports.     摘要: The present invention discloses a channel reconstruction method for a downlink multi-antenna-multi-base-station with inconsistent antenna configuration. Firstly, a serving base station configures a user equipment. If antenna configuration of the multi-antenna-multi-base-station system is inconsistent, virtual antennas are introduced to a base station with fewer antennas in the system. A user equipment selects and feeds back indices of the virtual antennas and reconstructs channels of the multi-antenna-multi-base-station system to generate a consistent antenna configuration. Finally, the multi-antenna-multi-base-station system transmits a signal to the user equipment by adopting a transmission pre-processing scheme of the consistent antenna configuration. The present invention provides also a serving base station, a cooperative base station and a user equipment for realizing the channel reconstruction method. The present invention has advantages of large application range, simple implementation and better performance.
