The inline storage pouch include a flexible pouch body has an interior portion with a fluid storage material disposed within the interior portion. In addition to receiving body fluids, the inline storage pouch may fluidly couple a pressure sensing conduit between a first port and a second port using a first bypass conduit. The first port may be a patient-port interface. The second port may be a device-port interface. Multiple sensors and bypass conduits may be included and associated with a microprocessor that is configured to locate blockages or determine when the inline storage pouch is full. Systems and methods for treating a plurality of tissue sites include a multi-port therapy unit. The multi-port therapy unit includes a plurality of patient-side ports each fluidly coupled to a plurality of conduits and a fluid reservoir fluidly coupled to the plurality of ports. A plurality of pressure sensors are associated with the plurality of patient-side ports to determining a pressure associated with each conduit. A controller is operatively coupled to the plurality of pressure sensors to receive treatment pressure data, monitor pressure for each pressure sensor of the plurality of pressure sensors, and signal an alarm condition if the pressure is outside of a pre-selected range. The system includes a reduced-pressure source fluidly coupled to a dressing at each tissue site through the multi-port therapy unit.

In one example embodiment, a dressing connector is described that provides a first fluid path between a first connector and a second connector, and a second fluid path between a third connector and a fourth connector. A liquid barrier may be disposed in the first fluid path. The first fluid path and the second fluid path are generally exposed to an exterior surface of the dressing connector. In some embodiments, a tube may also be bonded to the third connector to provide a third fluid path between the dressing connector and another component. An apparatus for connecting multi-lumen conduits may include a conduit adapter and a conduit collar. The conduit adapter may include a housing, a bayonet connector, and a support member connecting the housing and the bayonet connector. The support member has an aperture that permits fluid communication through the support member. One end of the conduit collar is sized for insertion into the housing, and a second end is adapted to receive a first multi-lumen conduit. The housing also is adapted to receive a second multi-lumen conduit. The bayonet connector engages a primary lumen of the first multi-lumen conduit and the second multi-lumen conduit such that the primary lumen of the second multi-lumen conduit fluidly communicates with the primary lumen of the first multi-lumen conduit. Systems, methods, and apparatuses are presented that facilitate the provision of reduced pressure to a tissue site by using a delivery-and-fluid-storage bridge, which separates liquids and gases and provides a flow path for reduced pressure. In one instance, a delivery-and-fluid-storage bridge includes a delivery manifold for delivering reduced pressure to a treatment manifold at the tissue site and an absorbent layer proximate the delivery manifold adapted to receive and absorb liquids. The delivery manifold and the absorbent layer are encapsulated in an encapsulating pouch. A first aperture is formed proximate a first longitudinal end of the delivery-and-fluid-storage bridge for fluidly communicating reduced pressure to the delivery manifold from a reduced-pressure source, and a second aperture is formed on a patient-facing side of the delivery-and-fluid-storage bridge. A system and method for analyzing tissue healing may include capturing an image including a tissue site. A clinician may be enabled to define multiple regions of the image of the tissue site, where at least two of the regions of the image define tissue types at different stages of tissue healing. An area may be calculated of each of the at least two regions of the image defining tissue type at different stages of tissue healing. The calculated areas may be displayed to a clinician. In one embodiment, an image color adjustment may be determined by adjusting the image of the reference color marker to the predetermined color. The image of the tissue site may be normalized by applying the image color adjustment to generate a normalized image.
