    Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving trick-mode start timestamps of trick-mode events performed on a video sequence in end-user devices such that each trick-mode start timestamp is associated with a trick-mode event performed on a video sequence in one end-user device, receiving trick-mode end timestamps of the trick-mode events, aggregating the trick-mode start timestamps according to a time value of each of the trick-mode start timestamps, aggregating the trick-mode end timestamps according to a time value of each of the trick-mode end timestamps, identifying a plurality of start clusters from the aggregation of the trick-mode start time stamps, identifying a plurality of end clusters from the aggregation of the trick-mode end time stamps, analyzing the plurality of start clusters and the plurality of end clusters, and identifying a level of engagement of a section of the video sequence based on the analyzing.

    Abstract: A location of a client device may be detected. From a first location, a first angle from a first reference line to the client device may be determined using beamforming. Next, from a second location, a second angle from a second reference line to the client device may be determined using beamforming. The first reference line and the second reference line may be parallel. Then, an intersection point of a first directional line and a second directional line may be determined. The first directional line may be defined by the first location and the first angle. The second directional line may be defined by the second location and the second angle. A client device location corresponding to the intersection point may then be obtained.

    Abstract: An accurate non-Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (non-DOCSIS) clock signal is generated at the downstream output of a DOCSIS network. In one example method, a downstream DOCSIS Timing Protocol (DTP) client in the DOCSIS network is frequency synchronized to an upstream DTP server in the DOCSIS network. DOCSIS timing information, along with one or more timing correction factors received at the DTP client, is used to time synchronize the DTP client to the DTP server. Based on the time and frequency synchronization between the DTP server and the DTP client, the clock signal is generated at the output of the DTP client in accordance with the non-DOCSIS timing protocol.
