摘要:
A mitt worn on a hand for cleaning. The mitt includes a section for the palm of the hand, a section for the fingers, and a compartment on either side of a central axis of the mitt for a thumb. The mitt is capable of being used on either hand, and both sides of the mitt may be used without moving the mitt from one hand to the other. The mitt is formed using an electrostatically-charged material to optimize cleaning efficiency. Also disclosed is a method of forming a mitt for cleaning.

A surgical tool for performing anastomosis between a graft vessel and a target vessel may include an anvil; a cutting element connected to the anvil; and an energy source connected to the cutting element, wherein the energy source is configured to deliver energy to the cutting element. A method for performing anastomosis with that tool may include placing an end of the graft vessel against a side of the target vessel; creating an opening in the wall of the target vessel at a first location; inserting an anvil through the opening from outside the wall of the target vessel into the lumen of the target vessel; creating an incision in the wall of the target vessel spaced apart from the first location; and connecting the graft vessel to the target vessel.

Systems and methods for treating internal tissue defects, such as septal defects, with clip-based devices are provided. An exemplary clip-based device includes a tubular body having at least a first and a second deflectable member coupled thereto. The first and second members are coupled on opposite ends of the tubular body and configured to deflect between an undeployed configuration and a deployed configuration. In the deployed configuration, each member extends outwardly away from the tubular body in a position configured to abut a tissue surface. The first and second members are preferably configured to maintain a tissue wall therebetween and at least partially close any opening in the tissue wall.

A method for anastomosing a first vessel to a second vessel may include connecting an end of the first vessel to the side of the second vessel and creating an opening in the wall of the second vessel from within the lumen of the second vessel, where that opening allows fluid communication between the lumen of the first vessel and the lumen of the second vessel.

A method for performing anastomosis between a graft vessel and a target vessel with an integrated anastomosis tool may include actuating at least one control on the integrated anastomosis tool to create an opening in the target vessel and complete an anastomosis with the target vessel. Another method for performing anastomosis may include creating an opening in intact tissue of the target vessel with an integrated anastomosis tool; and deploying an anastomosis device with the integrated anastomosis tool. The anastomosis may be performed with an anastomosis device, such as an anastomosis device having a deployable section detachable from a discard section.

Systems and methods for treating internal tissue defects, such as septal defects, with implantable devices are provided. An exemplary clip-based device includes a tubular body having at least a deflectable anchors coupled thereto. The anchors can be coupled on opposite ends of the tubular body and configured to deflect between an undeployed configuration and a deployed configuration. In the deployed configuration, each anchor extends outwardly away from the tubular body in a position configured to abut a tissue surface. The anchors are preferably configured to maintain a tissue wall therebetween and at least partially close any opening in the tissue wall. Also provided are delivery devices for delivering the implantable closure device and methods for using the various devices.

Systems, devices and methods for treating internal tissue defects, such as septal defects, are provided. An exemplary method of treating an internal tissue defect, specifically a method of closing a patent foramen ovale (PFO), can include passing a closure element from a right atrium through a septal wall in a first location and into the left atrium. A capture device, which can be configured as a snare-like device, can be used to capture the closure element in the left atrium and pull the closure element back through the septal wall in a different, second location, such that the closure element is routed over the PFO. The closure element can then be anchored and/or locked against the septal wall such that the PFO is at least partially closed.

A tool for deploying an anastomosis device includes a member configured to hold the anastomosis device, and an expander movable relative to the anastomosis device.

A lifter for windshield wiper blade includes a body having first and second opposite end portions. The body is horizontally elongate with a vertically low profile. The first and second end opposite portions are without any corners. The first opposite end portion releasably contacts the windshield when the body portion is positioned between a wiper arm and a windshield. The second opposite end portion releasably supports the wiper arm in a spaced apart relationship to the windshield when the first opposite end portion contacts the windshield and the body portion is positioned between the wiper arm and the windshield. The first and second end opposite portions are free from attachment to the wiper arm and the windshield, The body is supportively firm along the vertically low profile and vertically flexible along the second opposite end portion in supporting the wiper arm. The body has a positive water buoyancy.
