    摘要: A quantum circuit performing quantum computation in a quantum computer. A chosen transformation of an initial n-qubit state is probabilistically obtained. The circuit comprises a unitary quantum operator obtained from a non-unitary quantum operator, operating on an n-qubit state and an ancilla state. When operation on the ancilla state provides a success condition, computation is stopped. When operation on the ancilla state provides a failure condition, computation is performed again on the ancilla state and the n-qubit state obtained in the previous computation, until a success condition is obtained.

    摘要: This disclosure describe three related novel methods for Recombinase-Polymerase Amplification (RPA) of a target DNA that exploit the properties of recombinase and related proteins, to invade double-stranded DNA with single stranded homologous DNA permitting sequence specific priming of DNA polymerase reactions. The disclosed methods have the advantage of not requiring thermocycling or thermophilic enzymes. Further, the improved processivity of the disclosed methods may allow amplification of DNA up to hundreds of megabases in length.

The apparatus includes a shell that rotatably receives the rod, and which is grasped by one hand of the user, a pull cord that normally winds around the rod and has a handle that is grasped by the other hand of the user, and when the shell is grasped by the one hand of the user, and the handle is grasped and pulled by the other hand of the user, the pull cord unwinds from the rod, which causes the rod to spin, which causes the head to spin, and which causes the light source to illuminate.
