    Abstract: In a steering control apparatus, a reaction force torque command value is calculated so that a detection value of a torque sensor follows a target value obtained by adding at least a viscosity command value and a return command value to a steering torque command value, and an electric current that flows to a reaction force rotary electric machine is controlled based on the reaction force torque command value. Whether a steering state is a turning state or a returning state is determined by comparing a physical quantity corresponding to an output torque of a reaction force device and the detection value of the torque sensor. Characteristics of one or more of a reaction force amount operation, a viscosity amount operation, and a return amount operation are made differ between the turning state and the returning state.

    Abstract: A control device is provided for a three-phase rotary machine including two three-phase-winding sets. The control device includes two power converters for outputting alternating currents with a same amplitude and a phase difference of (30±60×n) degrees to the two three-phase-winding sets and a control unit for controlling energization of the three-phase rotary machine by calculating a d-axis current and a q-axis current of a 6(2k+1)th component to be superimposed on a fundamental wave component on dq coordinates so as to reduce a phase current peak value. The control unit calculates currents so that a high-order dq amplitude ratio is 0 when a fundamental wave current amplitude is a first threshold or less, and the high-order dq amplitude ratio is 1 when the fundamental wave current amplitude is larger than a second threshold.

    Abstract: A current sensor state determination device determines that an abnormality is caused in a current sensor when a sum of phase currents based on current detection values from each of the current sensors in three phases is greater than a first determination value, and determines that no abnormality is caused in the current sensor when the sum of phase currents is equal to or less than the first determination value. The state determination device determines that the current sensor is normal when it is determined that (i) no abnormality is caused in a preset electric angle range equal to or less than one electric-angle cycle of the rotating electric machine and (ii) a value of an electric current flowing in the rotating electric machine in a rotating coordinates system calculated based on the current detection value is equal to or greater than a second determination value.

    Abstract: A control apparatus includes an electric current estimation unit to improve a responsiveness of an AC motor. The electric current estimation unit performs, at predetermined intervals, a dq conversion, a correction process, and an inverted dq conversion. The dq conversion calculates d/q axis electric current estimate values based on a detection value of a sensor phase from a sensor, and on an electric current estimate values of two phases of the AC motor other than the sensor phase from a previous cycle. The correction process corrects, during the dq conversion, the d/q axis electric current estimate values in an orthogonal direction that is orthogonal to a sensor phase axis. The inverted dq conversion calculates the electric current estimate values of the two phases other than the sensor phase based on the d/q axis electric current estimate values corrected by the correction process and smoothed by a low-pass filter process.

    Abstract: A microcomputer includes an abnormality monitor unit, a rotation angle calculation unit and a current supply control unit. The abnormality monitor unit monitors an abnormality of the rotation angle sensor. The rotation angle calculation unit calculates an electrical angle based on angle information acquired from the rotation angle sensor and an abnormality state of the rotation angle sensor. The current supply control unit controls current supply to the winding sets based on the electrical angle. When an abnormality is detected in one of the sensor units, the rotation angle calculation unit calculates the electrical angle based on a hold value which is the electrical angle before the detection of abnormality during a period from the detection of abnormality to a final determination of the abnormality. When the abnormality of the sensor unit is finalized, the electrical angle is calculated based on the angle information of the other sensor unit which is normal.
