Abstract: A heat exchanger includes a plurality of fins that are spaced from each other and are arranged to divide a heat medium flow passage into a plurality of narrow passages. Each fin incudes a plurality of thick wall portions and a plurality of thin wall portions which are alternately arranged in a passage longitudinal direction. Each adjacent two of the plurality of fins, which are adjacent to each other, are defined as one fine and another fin, and each of the plurality of thick wall portions of the one fin is opposed to an adjacent one of the plurality of thin wall portions of the another fin in a fin arrangement direction, and each of the plurality of thin wall portions of the one fin is opposed to an adjacent one of the plurality of thick wall portions of the another fin in the fin arrangement direction.

Abstract: A heat exchanger includes a stacked body that is configured by tubes stacked in a stacking direction and a header tank. The header tank includes a plate header and a tank body. The tubes include longitudinal ends attached to the plate header. The plate header includes a tube insertion hole provided with a stopper. One of the longitudinal ends of the plurality of tubes is inserted into the tube insertion hole. The stopper sets a position of the one of the longitudinal ends in the tube insertion hole. The stopper is provided with the tube insertion hole, and has a width dimension that is smaller than both of a width dimension of the tube insertion hole and a width dimension of the one of the longitudinal ends of the plurality of tubes when viewed in the stacking direction.

Abstract: A tank has a tank body defining a passage therein, a plate to which tubes are attached, and an intermediate plate. The tank body has a space defining part and a tank junction part attached to the intermediate plate. A longitudinal direction and a stacking direction of the tubes are perpendicular to a width direction. The space defining part has two end parts facing each other in the width direction and connecting to two of the tank junction part respectively. The tank body has a junction end surface that has an arc shape protruding toward the passage. The intermediate plate has a part corresponding to the junction end surface and being provided with a receiving surface that has an arc shape fitting the arc shape of the junction end surface. The receiving surface is attached to the junction end surface.

Abstract: A condenser has a core part having tubes, a first modulator tank and a second modulator tank. The first modulator tank is provided along a side portion of a header tank. The second modulator tank communicates with an interior of the first modulator tank and is provided along a lower edge of the core part in a gravity direction. An interior of the header tank is provided with a communicating space that communicates with the interior of the first modulator tank and an interior of the second modulator tank. The header tank has an introduction passage that guides liquid-phase refrigerant in the communicating space to a supercooling portion of the core part. A first connection part between the communicating space and the introduction passage is disposed on a lower side, in the gravity direction, of a second connection part between the communicating space and the second modulator tank.
