An input device includes: a detector that detects an operation state of an operation object on an operation surface; a controller that performs an input operation on a predetermined instrument; and a driver that vibrates the operation surface. Multiple operation areas for operating the predetermined instrument are set on the operation surface in advance. The controller applies an attraction action into a second operation area by causing the driver to generate a predetermined vibration in an intermediate area between a first operation area and the second operation area. The controller stops an actuation of the driver.

An input device includes: a detector configured to detect an operation state of an operation body on an operation surface; a controller configured to execute an input control with respect to a predetermined instrument in accordance with the operation state of the operation body; and a drive portion configured to vibrate the operation surface. A selection position of the operation buttons on a display is correlated to a coordinate position of the operation body on the operation surface. The drive portion generates a predetermined vibration on the operation surface for a predetermined period in response to determining that the selection position of the operation buttons on the display is changed from one operation button to another operation button.

A touch panel type input device includes: a display unit that displays multiple input-enabled regions, on which a finger of a user is touchable; an input device that performs an input corresponding to one of the input-enabled regions when the finger touches the one of the input-enabled regions; and a first approach notification device that executes a first approach notification for notifying the user of an approach of the finger when the finger is disposed within a first predetermined distance from the one of the input-enabled regions without touching the display unit. The first approach notification device executes the first approach notification by vibrating a part of a compartment of a vehicle other than the input device.

A display apparatus includes: a camera that captures surroundings of a vehicle and generates a capture image; an image processing circuit that is supplied with the capture image as successive image data, performs predetermined image processing, and outputs an output image including display-use image data; and a liquid crystal panel that displays the output image as a motion picture. The display apparatus further includes: a traveling state detector that detects a signal comparable to a traveling state of the vehicle; and a correction section provided in the image processing circuit. The correction section performs residual image correction to suppress occurrence of a residual image in the output image due to a decreased response rate of the liquid crystal panel, in accordance with a traveling state of the vehicle acquired by the traveling state detector when a temperature of the liquid crystal panel is lower than a predetermined temperature.
