    摘要: The present invention provides lactic acid bacteria having oxalic acid-degrading activity several times higher than those of conventionally known lactic acid bacteria having an oxalic acid-degrading activity, and uses thereof. Lactic acid bacteria capable of degrading a large amount of oxalic acid were screened from 132 strains of Lactobacillus lactic acid bacteria that have been independently isolated from feces and gastric juices of human adults. As a result, lactic acid bacteria having an oxalic acid degradation rate of 50% or more when cultured at 37° C. for 72 hours in a culture medium containing 10 mM oxalic acid at pH 6.5 at the start of culture were discovered.

The water discharge system includes: a water discharge unit; a sensor unit configured to obtain information about an object to be detected through a reflected wave of a radiated radio wave; a control unit configured to control the start of water discharge from the water discharge unit based on a detective signal from the sensor unit; and a storage mechanics. The sensor unit is installed so that at least part of a radiated radio wave comes into contact with a discharged water flow discharged from the water discharge unit and receives the reflected wave reflected by the discharged water flow, and the control unit determines a state of the discharged water flow by checking a relationship between a first threshold set larger than amplitude of oscillation around a reference value of the detective signal in a water flow state in which only the start of water discharge from the water discharge unit is performed and amplitude of the detective signal received by the sensor unit.

    摘要: The present invention provides lactic acid bacteria which are suitable for use for dietary products and pharmaceuticals, and which can suppress the increase of blood uric acid level.Various types of lactic acid bacteria were cultured in the presence of a purine, the amount of the purine consumed and the amount of purine degradation products produced were measured, and several lactic acid bacteria showing remarkable purine-decomposing ability were selected. Lactic acid bacteria that were assessed to have high purine-decomposing ability according to the above-mentioned selection were orally administered to rats reared on purine-containing feed, the general status and serum uric acid level of the rats were measured, and the effect of lactic acid bacteria administration on serum uric acid levels was examined. As a result, lactic acid bacteria that significantly suppress the increase of serum uric acid levels, Lactobacillus gasseri OLL2922, were found.

The mold includes a die defining a cylindrical cavity having an inner diameter substantially equal to an outer diameter of the flanges. A pair of die inserts are movable in an orthogonal direction relative to the cylindrical cavity and define a diameter of the coil winding core portion of the drum shaped magnetic core. The diameter of the coil winding core portion is smaller than the outer diameter of the flanges. An upper punch and a lower punch are inserted into the cylindrical cavity from a corresponding end opening of the mold such that each forms a flange. A central punch is disposed coaxially within one of the punches to form the coil winding core portion.

An elongated, curved, urine sampling trough (32) having a U-shaped cross-section is used. The direction of the radio beam emitted from the microstrip antenna is varied by selecting which of parasitic elements 104, 106 is grounded and floated. A microwave signal source connects to feed element 102 via an feed line 108 very much shorter than the wavelength, accordingly the transmission losses being low and the efficiency being excellent.
