A second drive assembly includes a second internally threaded drive nut internally receiving the second threaded screw. A trough carriage assembly is located between the first column and the second column. The trough carriage assembly is mounted to the first drive assembly and the second drive assembly for vertical movement therewith. The trough carriage is configured to receive a dough trough.

摘要： A release assembly is mounted adjacent a track to release selected ones of a plurality of gripper clamps movable along the track past the release assembly. The release assembly includes a cam mounted for movement relative to the track between a first position in which the cam is engageable by a gripper clamp moving along the track, to open the gripper clamp, and a second position in which the cam is spaced from and not engageable by the moving gripper clamp. The release assembly includes a rotary actuator selectively operable to move the cam between its first and second positions. The release assembly includes an overcenter linkage for blocking movement of the cam out of its first position toward its second position upon engagement by a moving gripper clamp.

摘要： An existing sheet material feeder has a feed tray which holds sheet material in an on-edge orientation in which side surfaces of the sheet material are generally vertical. An apparatus is provided to convert the sheet material feeder to one having a feed tray which holds sheet material in a lying-down orientation in which side surfaces of the sheet material are generally horizontal. The apparatus for converting the on-edge sheet material feeder to the lying-down sheet material feeders includes a frame having a pair of parallel side sections. A single sheet material feed drum is disposed between and is connected with the side sections. The side sections are connected with side sections of the existing collator conveyor sheet material feeder.

摘要： A dispensing device for supplying measured quantities of batter to baking containers, and a method of operating such device use a peristaltic pump driven by a servo-motor drive. The peristaltic pump has a flexible conduit with a first end connected to a supply container for receiving batter and a second end from which the batter is dispensed. A movable pump element precisely moves batter through the flexible conduit from the first end toward the second end. A shut-off valve adjacent the second end of the flexible conduit closes the conduit when the measured quantity of batter has been dispensed. A conveyor is positioned beneath the second end of the flexible conduit for moving baking containers into position therebeneath for deposit of batter. The movable pump element has a peristaltic driver including a plurality of rollers, a drive shaft to rotate the peristaltic driver such that the rollers apply pressure to the flexible conduit, pressing the flexible conduit against a curved pressure surface of a shoe.

摘要： Sheeting head apparatus for rolling and flattening a quantity of dough, includes a sheeting head, an infeed conveyor, and an outfeed conveyor. The sheeting head defines a dough path therethrough and includes a plurality of opposed roller pairs. The first roller of each roller pair is mounted for rotation and for independent movement toward and away from the dough path. The infeed conveyor conveys a quantity of dough to the sheeting head, and the outfeed conveyor for conveying a quantity of rolled and flattened dough from the sheeting head. A sensor, adjacent the infeed conveyor, senses an unduly thick or double quantity of dough being conveyed by the infeed conveyor to the sheeting head. A control is responsive to the sensor and causes the sheeting head to move the first roller of each roller pair away from the dough path.
