摘要: A control system for a fuel injector is disclosed. The control system has a valve element movable between a first position and a second position, an armature connected to the valve element, a solenoid configured to move the armature and connected valve element, and a controller in communication the solenoid. The controller is configured to energize the solenoid at a first current level to initiate movement of the valve element from the first position toward the second position, at a second current level less than the first current level during movement of the valve element from the first position toward the second position, at a third current level less than the second current level after the valve element has reached the second position, and at a fourth current level less than the third current level after the valve element has been in the second position for a predetermined period of time.

摘要: A control system for controlling a device, the device having at least two functional elements, each functional element being controlled by a control signal, is disclosed in the present disclosure. The control system may include detecting means operatively connected to the device and configured to monitor the operation of the device, and to generate a signal indicative of an operating condition of the device. The control system may also include a control module operatively connected to the at least two functional elements and the detecting means, and configured to switch the two control signals applied to the respective functional elements in response to the signal generated by the detecting means.

摘要: A spacer for use with, and to prevent or reduce the occurrence of stiction in, a fluid device such as a pump. The spacer has a generally ring-shaped body, which has first and second facing surfaces separated by a thickness. The spacer is positioned between a movable member of the pump and a stationary member of the pump such that the first facing surface of the spacer is contactable with the movable member and the second facing surface is contactable with the stationary member. The spacer has at least a fluid receiving groove formed in at least one of the first and second facing surfaces.

摘要: A method for controlling transfer from use of a first injection waveform type to use of a second injection waveform type in a hydraulically-actuated electronically-controlled fuel injection system of an engine includes sensing an engine speed and an engine load when the first injection waveform type is selected and storing the sensed engine speed and the sensed engine load. An actual engine speed is thereafter compared with the stored engine speed and an actual engine load is thereafter compared with the stored engine load. Transfer from use of the first injection waveform type to use of the second injection waveform type is prevented unless at least (i) a difference between the actual engine load and the stored engine load exceeds a predetermined load amount, or (ii) a difference between the actual engine speed and the stored engine speed exceeds a predetermined speed amount.
