摘要: An agricultural machine system for performing agricultural tasks in a field on which plants are planted or will be planted in a pattern, the system comprising: a prime mover; a tool bar connected to the prime mover; a plurality of units attached to the tool bar, the units configured to perform at least one agricultural tasks and wherein at least two of the units are disposed in an offset relationship from each other with respect to a forward direction of travel of the agricultural machine about the tool bar; and a control unit in communication with the prime mover and the plurality of units, the control unit configured to determine a selective location corresponding to the pattern in which plants are planted or will be planted and activate the units at the selective location to perform the at least one agricultural task as the agricultural machine system travels along a plurality of rows.

摘要: Selectively removable nozzles for inclusion into a grain conveyor may include a ramp and a sidewall coupled to the ramp. The ramp may conform to an inner surface of a conveyor housing and produce a constriction within the housing. The sidewall may also conform to the inner surface of the conveyor housing. The ramp may also include a recess that extends along the sidewall. The recess may receive a shaft of the conveyor. One nozzle may be replaced with another in order to accommodate different harvesting conditions. The ramp compresses grain traveling through the conveyor to provide a continuous flow of grain. The continuous flow of grain provides for accurate measurements of grain characteristics by a sensor located adjacent to the flow of grain.

A spectrometer is equipped with a light source (89) and a detector (91) for light which was generated by the light source (89) and was transmitted through the sample. The detector (91) is connected to an analyzer (134) for wavelength-resolved analysis of the received light. A mounting (93) of one of the light source (89) or detector (91) can be moved with respect to the other (91, 89 by a drive (106), which moves the mounting (93) for purposes of conveying the sample either in the flow direction (130) or in the opposite direction, in order to break up the sample or to avoid bridging and/or jamming of the sample in the measurement chamber (80).
