摘要： Extruder and twin roller calendering plant for producing films or sheets of synthetic plastics or rubber material comprising a pair of calendering rollers mounted in a calender frame and an extruder nozzle head directed into the gap between the pair of calendering rollers, the calender frame being pivotally mounted such that it can be pivoted away from the extruder nozzle head to allow ready access to the extruder nozzle head. No housing is required, tooth forces of the ring gears and central gears being accommodated by the supporting rollers and not transmitted to the radial bearings of the input end output shafts.

摘要： Drive means for two screw extruders combined in a cascade arrangement wherein, instead of providing a drive motor and reduction gear for each screw, both screws are driven from the same drive motor and reduction gearing and a coupling gearing is included between the reduction gearing and one of the screws to enable different speed ratios of the two screws to be obtained. The coupling gearing may be shift gearing including pair of gears of different ratios alternatively and selectively included in the drive train to one of the screws by means of respective clutches. In another embodiment the coupling gearing includes a planet gearing with a ring gear of the planet gearing drivable by an electric motor to vary the speed of an output gear coupled to planet wheels compared to the speed of an input sun gear driven from the reduction gearing. A further embodiment has the planet gears connected to an output shaft, a ring gear connecting the planet gearing to the reduction gear and the sun gear connected to control gearing powered from the reduction gearing and controllable to vary the speed of the output shaft.

As a base, the supporting shell comprises an end wall inclined at a predetermined angle relative to the parting plane, the inside of the end wall, however, comprising an attachment surface aligned parallel with the parting plane in the attachment region of the rotational positioner. Outwardly directed webs are provided on the outer surface of the end wall and extend at right angles with respect to one another for the purpose of reinforcement.

摘要： Each screw shaft of a twin screw extruder with power branching gearing is driven by a gear train comprising a driven pinion, a first pair of intermediate gears meshing with the driven pinion from opposite sides, a second pair of intermediate gears each meshed with a respective one of the first pair of intermediate gears and a drive pinion meshed on its opposite sides with the second pair of intermediate gears and coupled to a power shaft. The first and second pairs of intermediate gears are capable only of rotation in a gear casing in which they are mounted but the drive pinion and the driven pinion are capable of radial movement in the casing. As shown the driven pinion has an axial extension with curved teeth engaged in one end of a coupling sleeve with internal curved teeth and a portion of the shaft has curved teeth engaged with the curved teeth in the other end of the sleeve, the shaft being mounted in bearings.

摘要： A magnetic disk memory comprises a hub rotatably seated at both ends in a one-piece supporting shell of a housing and carrying at least one storage disk and driven by an internal drive motor. The hub is fixed on a rotating spindle, whereby a pair of ball bearings is provided for seating the spindle at mutually opposite walls of the supporting shell. The ball bearings are embraced in the axial direction in order to achieve a play-free spindle guidance. Each ball bearing has an inner ring fixed with an interference fit onto a respective end of the spindle and a respective bearing bushing likewise seated with an interference fit on its outer ring. One of the two bearing bushings is rigidly disposed in the allocated wall of the supporting shell and, in the incorporated condition of the hub, the other bearing bushing is fixed at the opposite wall of the supporting shell and is prestressed in the axial direction.

摘要： A positioning mechanism for a magnetic fixed (or hard) disk storage unit incorporates a bearing block forming part of the magnet system for the rotational positioner, and carrying a positioning shaft. A pivot member rotationally seated on the shaft has pivot arms carrying magnetic heads and brackets for carrying the magnetic coil for positioning the heads. A pulse operated detent magnet is provided and incorporates a stop armature. The armature is biased into detent retaining position, but is restrained by retaining spring in mechanically self-holding condition. It is automatically released when the pivot member swings into the detent position, corresponding to the landing zone for the magnetic heads.
