    摘要： A multi-way connector assembly comprising a tubular metal outer casing and a plurality of electrical lead-through terminations which extend through the outer casing, the terminations carrying respective annular discoidal filter capacitors whose outer electrodes are connected electrically to a ground plane in the form of a metal plate which is itself connected electrically to the outer metal casing. The inner electrodes of the capacitor are electrically coupled to the associated lead-through terminations by respective contact clips which enable relative displacement of the capacitors and terminations for purposes of assembly and disassembly, the metal plate forming the ground plane being held in electrical connection with the outer casing by means of a removable locking means.

    摘要： A multiway connector assembly comprising a tubular metal outer casing, a plurality of electrical lead-through terminations which extend through the outer casing, the terminations being coupled to respective pi-section filters, each of which is formed by two annular discoidal capacitors separated by a tubular inductive element. The outer electrodes of the capacitors of the pi-section filters are connected to metal earth planes which are held in the outer casing by a first releasable retention clip such as to be in electrical connection with the casing. The inner electrodes of the capacitors are connected to associated ones of the terminations by way of respective contact clips which enable relative displacement of the capacitors and terminations for purposes of assembly and disassembly. A plurality of transient absorption devices are mounted on a circuit board through which the lead-through terminations extend and which is held releasably in the outer casing by way of a further retention clip such as to connect the one side of the transient absorption devices to the casing. The circuit board is coupled to the terminations by further contact clips which connect the terminations to the other sides of the associated transient absorption devices.

    摘要： In an assembly of circuit components, such as a multiplicity of RF interference suppression filters, the filter elements (15) in a first array are secured to a first plate (16) at solder joints (17) and further filter elements (18) in a second array are secured to a second flat plate (19) at solder joints (20). The first array of filter elements (15) thus extend through apertures (21b) in the second plate (19) and the second array of filter elements (18) extend through apertures (21a) in the first plate (16). The plates (16) and (19) are secured together after the soldering operation and the interspersed arrays of filter elements (15) and (18) can be individually inspected as to the adequacy of the solder joint.
