    摘要: DC to DC converters are connected in parallel to a DC buss that is input to a DC to AC inverter module. Each of the DC to DC converters receives input from one or more DC electrical sources. The inverter module typically comprises a DC to AC power stage that is connectable to an AC buss, and a filter connected between the DC buss and the DC to AC power stage. The filter may comprise one or more capacitors, wherein the capacitors may be chosen based upon the voltage of the DC buss. While the DC buss may have a voltage ripple associated therewith, the DC electrical sources are protected from the DC voltage ripple by their respective converter modules.

    摘要: A boost regulator system for regulating one or more output voltages includes, a first pump element coupled to receive a first input voltage, a first switching device coupled to the first pump element, the first switching device causing a finite amount of energy to be stored in the first pump element in response to a first control signal. The system further includes, a first capacitor coupled to the first pump element and the first switching device, the first capacitor storing the finite amount of energy and generating a first output voltage in response to the finite amount of energy. A boost controller (BC) coupled to receive the first output voltage, the boost controller further configured to regulate the first output voltage by generating the first control signal. The system further includes, a second switching device coupled to a second capacitor, the second switching device further causing a second voltage to develop across the second capacitor in response to a second control signal, a third capacitor coupled to the first pump element and the second switching device, the third capacitor further generating a third output voltage in response to the finite amount of energy, and a linear controller (LC) coupled to receive the third output voltage, the BC further configured to regulate the third output voltage by generating the second control signal.

    摘要: A switching voltage regulator includes, in part, N output stages, a loop ADC, a multiplexer, a current ADC, and an interrupt block. The loop analog-to-digital converter receives the N output voltages each of which is associated with one of N channels. The loop ADC is adapted to vary a duty cycle of N signals each applied to one of the N output stages that generate the N output voltages. The interrupt block is adapted to enable the multiplexer to couple an output stage to the current ADC if a difference between voltages sensed at an output stage during at least two sampling times exceeds a predefined threshold value. The interrupt block may also be adapted to enable the multiplexer to couple an output stage to the current ADC block if a difference between a voltage sensed at the output stage and a reference voltage exceeds a predefined threshold value.

    摘要: A switching regulator target voltage is adjusted to a first value corresponding to a pre-charge voltage that is present at a regulator output terminal. The switching regulator responds to a comparison signal resulting from a comparison of the target voltage and a feedback voltage. When the switching regulator is on, the target voltage is adjusted to a second value corresponding to a nominal regulator output voltage. In one embodiment, a synchronous switch is disabled when a lockout circuit receives a disable signal. The lockout circuit is unlocked when an enable signal is provided by a switching controller.
