    摘要: In a radio telecommunications network, a system and method of providing service differentiation for call forwarding based upon the type of call. The system provides network support that allows the forwarding of calls of different types to appropriate devices for each type of call, as identified by the call's service code. The system determines whether a call to a mobile station is a data call, and if it is a data call, provides the network support for forwarding the call to a different number than voice calls. A Service Type parameter is added to ANSI-41 signaling messages to inform various nodes in the network of the type of call. The network includes a home location register/service control point (HLR/SCP) with a database of call forwarding (transfer) numbers for its served mobile stations. The database records at least one transfer number for each type of service. Service logic in the HLR/SCP associates the type of call with the appropriate transfer number. In this manner, incoming data calls such as G3Fax calls are forwarded to an alternate fax machine, a fax mailbox, or some other device capable of storing the data rather than a voice mailbox. The system and method are applicable to forwarding any type of data service, and are not limited to ADS and G3 Fax calls.

The device and system include a chamber through which the air sample to be examined is circulated; a filter for capturing microorganisms susceptible to be present in the air sample; a liquid cooperating with the filter for recovering captured microorganisms therefrom; and a detector for detecting the presence of microorganisms in the liquid. The method, device and system are particularly useful for the continuous and on-site control, monitoring and detection of microorganisms, such as bacteria, parasites, fungi, viruses and the like, which may be present in an air sample, taken from an air duct of a ventilation system.

    摘要: A method of announcing to a calling party in an originating system in a radio telecommunications network that a called party in a serving system is not available. The method begins by sending a Routing Request (RoutReq) Invoke message from the originating system to the serving system. The RoutReq Invoke message includes a Transaction Capabilities parameter indicating that the originating system is capable of generating announcements. The serving system then determines that the called party is not available. This is followed by sending a Redirection Request (RedReq) Invoke message from the serving system to the originating system. The RedReq Invoke message includes an Announcement List parameter requesting the originating system to provide an announcement to the calling party, and may include a Preferred Language parameter. The RedReq Invoke message also includes an Allow Transfer to Number parameter if the called party subscribes to services requiring service logic support. Any trunk seized from the originating system to the serving system is then released. Finally, the originating system sends the announcement to the calling party announcing that the called party is not available. If a preferred language parameter was received, the originating system makes the announcement in the preferred language indicated.

    摘要: The present invention provides a novel method for diagnosing, monitoring, prognosing and staging Lymph Node (LN) status in colorectal cancer (CRC) that is more sensitive and accurate than conventional detection technologies such as histopathology. The Guanylyl Cyclase C (GCC) gene is specifically expressed in apical epithelial cells of the GI tract from the duodenum to the rectum and the detection of GCC mRNA in LNs is indicative of the presence of metastases. Quantitative RT-PCR (RT-qPCR) detection of GCC mRNA to identify the presence of colorectal cancer (CRC) cells in LNs has the potential to aid in CRC staging. When used in combination with glucuronidase B (GUSB), accurate quantification of GCC can be achieved with less than a 2-fold variation between intact and highly degraded RNA specimens. The invention also relates to a newly designed GCC/GUSB assay that uses relative quantification having improved prognostic value for time to recurrence and relapse-free survival in Stage I or II colon cancer patients. The GCC/GUSB assay also improves the statistical power of prognosis stratification for relative risk of recurrence and relapse-free survival.

    摘要: There is disclosed a system and method for over the air (OTA) activation of a previously activated mobile station in a wireless telecommunications network. During the new activation, an over the air processor requests the data configuration of the mobile station. The mobile station may issue a first challenge to the over the air processor and in so doing transmits a challenge message including certain mobile station parameters to the over the air processor. The over the air processor then communicates this information to the network authentication center which produces a challenge return message from the certain mobile station parameters and sends the challenge return message to the mobile station. The mobile station validates the challenge return message and if validation is successful the mobile station completes the transfer of mobile station data configuration to the over the air processor. The authentication center uses one of the Shared Secret Data Challenge (SSD_C) and Shared Secret Data Subsidy (SSD_S) security locks not broadcast over the air in the generation of the challenge return message. The authentication center stores the SSD_C and SSD_S for this purpose and is advised by the mobile station on which one of these two parameters is to be used by a Shared Secret Data Select parameter indicator (SSD_Select) forwarded by the mobile station as one of the parameters transmitted in the challenge request. The over the air processor then forwards new operating parameters to the mobile station and requests the mobile station to commit to these parameters. The mobile station may then issue a second challenge to the over the air processor request to commit where the second challenge is handled by the network in a manner similar to the first challenge.
