The poly(aryl ether ketone) (P1) and the per(halo)fluoropolymer (P2) are advantageously homogeneously distributed in the polymer composition (C). The polymer composition (C) is profitably prepared by a method comprising tumble blending the per(halo)fluoropolymer (P2) on one hand, and the poly(aryl ether ketone) (P1) or part of the poly(aryl ether ketone) (P1) on the other hand.

The specimens also meet at least one of the following two conditions: 1) a yellowness index (YI) of less than about 5.0 as measured according to ASTM D-1925 on 0.1 inch thick specimens, or 2) a color factor (CF) of less than about 25, wherein CF is defined by the following equation: CF=270[(x+y)sample−(x+y)air]/t wherein x and y are chromaticity coordinates measured in transmittance mode and t is sample thickness in inches. Another polysulfone composition is provided comprising a polysulfone, an organic phosphorous-containing melt stabilizer, and at least one of the following additives: a blue to violet dye, and an organic optical brightener. The polysulfone composition of the present invention is used to form transparent molded articles such as ophthalmic lenses.
