The invention relates to an heat-activated fabric comprising a polymer blend of 70 to 100 wt % of a polymer blend component and 0 to 30 wt % of a propylene polymer, wherein the polymer blend component comprises a first propylene-based polymer, wherein the first propylene-based polymer is a homopolymer of propylene or a copolymer of propylene and ethylene or a C4 to C10 alpha-olefin and a second propylene-based polymer, wherein the second propylene-based polymer is a homopolymer of propylene or a copolymer of propylene and ethylene or a C4 to C10 alpha-olefin, wherein the second propylene-based polymer is different than the first propylene-based polymer and wherein the polymer blend component has a MFR of greater than or equal to 20 g/10 min to less than 10,000 g/10 min; and wherein the propylene polymer has a MFR of greater than or equal to 20 g/10 min to less than 5,000 g/10 min.

A propylene-α-olefin-diene (PEDM) terpolymer may comprise 75 to 95 wt % propylene, 5 to 20 wt % α-olefin, and 0.5 to 5 wt % diene, said wt % based on the weight of the PEDM terpolymer. The propylene-α-olefin-diene terpolymer may be blended with an ethylene-based copolymer and optionally a variety of additives to form an elastomeric composition. An exemplary elastomeric composition includes 5 to 40 parts by weight per hundred parts by weight rubber (phr) of the PEDM terpolymer, 60 to 95 phr of the ethylene-based copolymer, and optionally additives like carbon black, zinc dimethacrylate, paraffinic oil, zinc oxide, and/or zinc stearate.

The present invention is related to adhesive compositions comprising about 50 to about 80 wt % of a polymer blend of at least two different propylene-based polymers, wherein the polymer blend has a melt viscosity of about 100 to about 6,000 cP and adhesive compositions comprising about 30 to about 60 wt % of a polymer blend of at least two different propylene-based polymers, wherein the polymer blend has a melt viscosity of about 6,000 cP to about 60,000 cP. When subjected to Temperature Rising Elution Fractionation, the polymer blend exhibits a first fraction that is soluble at −15° C. in xylene, the first fraction having an isotactic (mm) triad tacticity of about 70 mol % to about 90 mol %; and a second fraction that is insoluble or less soluble than the first fraction at −15° C. in xylene, the second fraction having an isotactic (mm) triad tacticity of about 85 mol % to about 98 mol %.

The invention relates to a fiber comprising a blend of 10-50 wt % of a polymer blend modifier and 50-90 wt % of a propylene-based elastomer; 5-50 wt % of a propylene-modifier and 50-95 wt % of a propylene-based elastomer; and 5-35 wt % of a polymer blend modifier and 65-95 wt % of a propylene-modifier. The polymer blend modifier has a first propylene-based polymer and a different second propylene-based polymer that is a propylene homopolymer or a copolymer of propylene and ethylene and a C4 to C10 alpha-olefin. The propylene-modifier is a propylene homopolymer or a copolymer of propylene with 0.5-4 wt % ethylene or C4 to C10 alpha-olefins. The propylene-based elastomer is propylene and 5-25 wt % of one or more C2 to C4-C12 alpha-olefins and has a triad tacticity greater than 90% and a heat of fusion less than 75 J/g.

An adhesive composition comprising a polyolefin composition comprising a homopolymer of propylene or a copolymer of propylene and ethylene or a C4 to C10 alpha-olefin, and a nucleating agent effective for decreasing the set time for the adhesive composition in comparison to an otherwise identical adhesive composition in which the nucleating agent is absent. The adhesive composition may have a Dot T-Peel of 1 Newton or more on Kraft paper.
