Abstract: A measurement support device including a head configured to emit measurement auxiliary light, an imaging unit to capture an image of a subject on which a spot is formed by the measurement auxiliary light via an imaging optical system, a measurement unit to measure a position of the spot in the image, and a display control unit to display an indicator figure, and information indicating a trajectory along which the spot moves on the image when an imaging distance of the image is changed, wherein, in a case where an optical axis of the measurement auxiliary light is projected on a plane including an optical axis of the imaging optical system, the head emits the measurement auxiliary light that has an inclination angle, which is not 0 degrees with respect to the optical axis of the imaging optical system, and crosses an angle of view of the imaging optical system.

Abstract: An endoscope includes an image pick-up-device at a distal-end-part of an insertion-part. The image pick-up-device includes a lens barrel holding an imaging lens; an image-sensor having a rectangular shape as an outer peripheral shape of an image reception surface on which imaging light incident via the imaging lens; and a sensor holder holding the image-sensor in a state where the image reception surface intersects a longitudinal direction of the insertion-part. The sensor holder has three independent wall-parts respectively covering three side surfaces of the image-sensor, and on an XY plane orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the insertion-part, a gap length, in an X-axis direction on the plane between adjacent wall-parts of the three wall-parts and a gap length, in Y-axis direction, between the adjacent wall-parts are equal to each other. Additionally, the height of each of the three wall-parts is 1.5 times to 3 times the gap length.

Abstract: In the case where a value of the aspect ratio of the display area of an image display device is larger than a value of the aspect ratio of a captured image indicated by an imaging signal, image processing for making the magnification of an image of a peripheral portion outside a central portion of the captured image larger than the magnification of an image of the central portion so as to match the aspect ratio of the display area of the image display device is performed. Accordingly, the magnification of the image of the peripheral portion of the captured image is increased by using the display area that is elongated in the horizontal direction, without degrading the visibility of the image of the central portion of the captured image. As a result, it is possible to improve the visibility of the image of the peripheral portion.

Abstract: An endoscope system capable of easily measuring a size of a subject is provided. In the endoscope system, since an index figure indicating an actual size of a specific region of a test object is displayed together with an image of the subject, a user can measure the specific region easily by comparing the specific region with a marker. Since the size of the index figure is set in accordance with a spot position, there is no need for distance measurement, a device configuration is simple, and measurement can be quickly and easily performed. In addition, a specific value of the “actual size” can be set in accordance with conditions, such as the type of test object and the purposes of measurement. Additionally, an affected region can be the specific region in a case where the test object is a living body.

Abstract: An endoscope system includes a measurement support device and an endoscope. The measurement support device includes a head emitting measurement auxiliary light, an imaging unit capturing an image of a subject on which a spot is formed by the measurement auxiliary light via an imaging optical system, and a processor measuring a position of the spot and displaying an indicator figure. The endoscope includes a memory, an insertion part and an operating part. In a case where the measurement auxiliary light is projected on a plane including an optical axis of the imaging optical system, the measurement auxiliary light has an inclination angle and crosses an angle of view of the imaging optical system. In a case where the indicator figure is displayed in a vicinity of the measured position, the indicator figure is displayed in different aspects according to measurement of the specific region is effective or not.

Abstract: An endoscope device includes a signal processing unit that processes a captured image signal, which is obtained by imaging a subject through an imaging optical system including an objective lens of an endoscope, to generates captured image, an auxiliary measurement light emitting unit that emits planar auxiliary measurement light from the distal end part, a display control unit that causes a display unit to display the captured image including an intersection line formed in a portion where a plane formed by the auxiliary measurement light intersects the subject. The auxiliary measurement light emitting unit emits the auxiliary measurement light in a state where the plane and an optical axis intersects each light at one specific point on the optical axis of the objective lens. A distance from a distal end part of the objective lens of the one specific point is 5 mm or more and 20 mm or less.
