    Abstract: Provided are an antireflection film having high durability and a functional glass including the antireflection film.An antireflection film includes a transparent substrate (10), an antireflection layer (30) provided on one surface side of the transparent substrate (10), and a hard coat layer (20) included between the transparent substrate (10) and the antireflection layer (30), in which the antireflection layer (30) is formed by laminating, from the hard coat layer (20) side, a layer of high refractive index (32) having a refractive index higher than a refractive index of the hard coat layer (20), a silver nano-disk layer (36) formed by dispersing a plurality of silver nano-disks (35) in a binder (33), and a layer of low refractive index (38) having a refractive index lower than the refractive index of the layer of high refractive index (32) in this order.

    Abstract: Provided are a high refractive index film including a high refractive index layer including a binder and flat metal particles, in which a value obtained by dividing an average particle diameter of the flat metal particles by an average thickness is 3 or more, a main plane of the flat metal particles is plane-oriented in a range of 0° to 30° with respect to a surface of the high refractive index layer, a volume fraction of the flat metal particles of the high refractive index layer is 20 volume % or more, and the flat metal particles are stacked in two or more layers, and an optical interference film using the high refractive index film.

    Abstract: An antireflection film includes an antireflection structure which has different reflectivity with respect to light to be incident on front and back surfaces, and includes a silver nano-disk layer formed by dispersing a plurality of silver nano-disks in a binder, and a layer of low refractive index which is formed on a surface of the silver nano-disk layer and has a refractive index smaller than a refractive index of the transparent substrate, and in which a ratio of a diameter of the silver nano-disk to a thickness is greater than or equal to 3, an area ratio of the silver nano-disk to the silver nano-disk layer is from 10% to 40%, and a pair of antireflection films having reflection conditions different from each other adhere to both surfaces of glass.

    Abstract: An anti-reflection optical member has a laminated structure including: a transparent substrate having a first refractive index greater than that of a predetermined medium; a metal-microparticle-containing layer containing metal microparticles; and a dielectric layer having a second refractive index greater than that of the predetermined medium, in this order. At least 60% of the metal microparticles are flat particles with a diameter-to-thickness ratio of 3 or more. Principal planes of the flat metal particles are surface-oriented in the range from 0° to 30° relative to the surface of the metal-microparticle-containing layer. In the metal-microparticle-containing layer, the metal microparticles are disposed without forming a conductive path. The dielectric layer has such a thickness that light reflected at the surface of the dielectric layer of incident light entering the laminated structure from the surface is interfered and canceled by light reflected at the interface between the dielectric layer and the metal-microparticle-containing layer.
