    Abstract: A system includes a vehicle control module, a vehicle gateway module, and a wired vehicle communications network communicatively coupling the vehicle gateway module to the vehicle control module. The vehicle control module is programmed to receive sensor data from at least one sensor, execute a machine-learning program trained to determine whether the sensor data satisfies at least one criterion, and transmit the sensor data satisfying the at least one criterion to the vehicle gateway module. The vehicle gateway module is programmed to transmit the machine-learning program to the vehicle control module; upon receiving the sensor data from the vehicle control module, store the sensor data; and upon establishing a connection with a remote server, transmit the sensor data to the remote server.

    Abstract: A mobile device receives a message from a vehicle computing platform via remote process communication (RPC), updates an origin address of the message to indicate the mobile device, sends the message to a destination address of the message, receives a response message from the destination, updates a destination address of the response message to indicate the computing platform, and sends the response message to the computing platform via the RPC. A computing platform constructs a remote procedure call (RPC) message by a virtual network interface application for a request received from a vehicle application for a network protocol unsupported by a mobile device, and sends the RPC to the mobile device to cause the mobile device to update an origin address of the request to indicate the mobile device and send the request to a destination address of the request.

    Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving a request for media playback sent from a vehicle computing system (VCS) and aggregating a plurality of user, environmental and vehicle data elements for at least one known consumer in a vehicle to receive media. The embodiment also includes requesting media plans from a plurality of media provision sources, the plan based at least in part on the aggregated user, environmental and vehicle data elements. The method further includes reviewing the media plans to select a plan received responsive to the request that best corresponds to the user, environmental and vehicle data elements. Also, the method includes sending the selected plan to the VCS for playback.

    Abstract: Data on an impending curve, speed, and acceleration of a vehicle are collected. A curve attention output that is a measure of the vehicle speed, the vehicle acceleration, and the curvature of the impending curve is determined based at least in part on the data. An output mechanism in a wearable device is activated at a first intensity when the curve attention output exceeds or is equal to a first threshold and below a second threshold. The output mechanism is activated at a second intensity when the curve attention output exceeds or is equal to the second threshold and below a third threshold.
