摘要: A method for adjusting an actual value of a quantity of fuel injected into an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle to a target value is provided, wherein a deviation of the actual quantity of fuel injected from the target value is determined based on a ratio of the component of the combusted quantity of gas in the induction system to the concentration of oxides of nitrogen in the exhaust system and the injected quantity of fuel is readjusted according to the deviation. Furthermore, an arrangement for carrying out the method is provided.

摘要: An exhaust gas recirculation system is provided in a motor vehicle to pass exhaust gas out of an exhaust tract into an intake tract of a motor vehicle, said system having a cooler device and a bypass duct, wherein the bypass duct is bounded by a double wall, which can be filled with a gas to thermally insulate the bypass duct and with a liquid to cool or heat the bypass duct. A method for controlling the temperature of a bypass duct of the exhaust gas recirculation system is furthermore provided.

During permissible engine operating conditions, the switchable cylinders may be deactivated in order to regenerate the NOx storage catalytic converter using the rich exhaust from the active cylinders blended with un-combusted gas from the deactivated cylinders.

Further, the drain valve may be closed responsive to engine operating conditions indicating the condensate reservoir has been completely drained.
