    摘要: It was found that good sensitizing activity in the red spectral region and without residual stain can be obtained with dyes of the general formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or a heterocyclic ring, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are hydrogen, methyl, or methoxy, but at least one of the groups R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 is not hydrogen, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are alkyl groups having 1 to 6 carbon atoms that can be substituted with hydroxyl groups, and X.sup.- is an anion.The invention can be used for preparing silver images, for example, for reproduction in preprint operations for black and white or multicolor printing.

Known silver halide recording materials for the production of negative images with ultrahigh contrast contain hydrazine compounds and contrast-increasing compounds (so-called boosters). A material with a new class of such boosters is being presented here, whereby they contain a sulfonyl urea, sulfonyl urethane or sulfuryl diamide group as well as a tertiary amino group in the molecule.     摘要: The present invention relates to photosensitive silver halide recording material with reduced pressure sensitivity. The occurrence of pressure marks can be minimized by protective layers with suitable additives. Other properties of the recording material, such as sensitivity, contrast, and clarity, are not affected adversely. Recording materials with protective layers containing polyolefin oxidates are largely insensitive to pressure marks and have low haze, high sensitivity, and high contrast. The invention's recording materials can be used in all fields of photographic and radiographic image production, especially in reproducing color images in steps preliminary to printing and in recording x-ray images for medical diagnostics.

    摘要: Photographic silver-halide materials for producing negative images with ultrahard-gradation contrast, which contain a hydrazine compound and a contrast-boosting amino compound and/or phosphonium compound, demonstrate a marked tendency to form "black fog" which results in inadequate acutance. By adding 200 to 2500 mg per mol of silver of a polyvinyl lactam to the emulsion, the fog is inhibited and acutance is improved without reducing sensitivity. The invention can be used to produce images during reproduction in the pre-printing stage.
