    摘要: For determining paths in the scope of a multipath search, a device for use in a wireless communications system performs: obtaining a delay profile of a code division multiple access transmission signal, the delay profile being in a form of complex symbols, each complex symbols resulting from a despreading of said received signal after being delayed by a distinct delay; comparing the real part of said complex symbols forming the delay profile with a first threshold, the first threshold being determined on the basis of a noise level determined by the imaginary part of said complex symbols forming the delay profile; and determining said paths on the basis of the comparing.
